I got up before Damba and had my bath. I watched him sleep for sometime before I decided to wake him up. He wasn't sleeping well and I wanted him to sleep on the bed.
"Damba," I tapped him gently. "Damba?"
He wasn't getting up.
"Damba!"
"Hmm?" He stirred on the couch and almost fell down when I used my hand to support him back up.
"Go and sleep on the bed."
"Where will you now sleep?" He didn't even open his eyes.
"I'm no longer sleeping." My voice was firm.
"Why?" He jerked his eyes open. "Where are you going dressed up like that?"
"No where. I just had my bath."
Damba sat up and rubbed his eyes. He picked up his phone and checked the time. "6 am? Sho rope camp lo wa ni?" Do you think you're in camp?
"No. I'm just used to getting up early."
"I see."
"Oya go and sleep on the bed."
"Why?"
"You're not sleeping very well there."
"You've woken me up already. I can't sleep back."
"Okay. Find something doing. I'm going for a walk." I turned to leave when he pulled my hand and got up. "What?"
He gave me a peck on the cheek. "Thank you."
My legs were shaky. It almost gave up on me. "For what?"
"Agreeing to come with me."
I smiled. "Okay. Go and bath. When I return, we can order breakfast."
"Order? Why can't we eat downstairs in the restaurant?"
I raised a brow at him.
"Just see it as a date."
"Alright, when I come back."
"Don't get lost oh."
I laughed. "Mi o ki n se omode now." I'm not a kid. With that, I left the room.

Damba and I were eating Bread and beans in the restaurant. I couldn't stop myself from stealing glances of him. He was so handsome and well-dressed, his demeanor being overly attractive.
"So Adeola, tell me..." Damba looked up so fast that I didn't even have the time to look away.
"Yes, yes?" I looked down at my food. "Tell you what?"
"What were you looking at?"
"Nothing."
He looked behind him and saw nothing. "Wait, were you staring at me?"
Shit. I've been nabbed.
"What? No."
"It's okay to..."
"Excuse me," I got up. "I need to use the restroom." O le wa pa mi. You cannot kill me.
It was so embarrassing that I started feeling heat even when the air conditioner was put on. I walked away fast and rushed into the restroom.

I saw couples kissing in the restroom that everything around me began to seem awkward. I was about to walk away when...
