Even though everyone heard the pop, nobody panicked in the slightest.

- Her tire blew up. - Howard sighed.

- Yep...Indeed it did. Let's wait for her to drive back without one tire, she has to learn to drive if anything happens on the track.

Lucy was struggling to control the car, but she slowed Nelly down and came into the pits without a tire.

- I blew a tire. - Lucy got out.

- Yeah, we kinda figured. - Keith chuckled. - You need to come into the pits more often.

- Well the more I come in, the more time I lose. My fuel was running out so I was about to come in, but then my tire exploded.

After a tire change and some more training Marshall told Keith and Lucy about the weekend plans. Keith laughed but put his head down.

- I don't like dirt. - Keith chuckled.

- Well you never know what you'll be driving on, it's some good training. - Marshall patted his back.

- Come on Keith, I'm sure rallying will be fun. - Lucy's heart filled with excitement.

- Oh no, it's very fun, it's just a little spooky.

At the end of the day, Lucy and Marshall came home to get some rest. Lucy greeted her car and ran her hand across it.

- Why don't you collect more cars? - Lucy asked.

- I don't need to. I have three cars in the garage and that's enough for me.

- What's the point of having them if you don't show them?

- They're memorabilia. How many cars do you have? - Marshall asked back.

- Two. Only one is here.

- Where's the other one?

- It's in my garage, but it doesn't start anyway, so it's just sitting there.

- Let's go take a look, what car is it? - Marshall opened the car door and got in.

- It's a 1968 Dodge Challenger RT but it won't start. - Lucy started directing towards the garage.

- Wait, so you've had a Japanese car your whole street racing career and you have an American muscle car?

- Not only that, now I drive an Italian car on the track. What can I say, I like them all.

They opened up Lucy's garage:

- Ta-da. - Lucy ironically said.

- It looks very well maintained, I'll give you that. - Marshall opened the hood.

- It has a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a 2.8-liter supercharger. Generates around 850 horsepower and 700 torque.

- the engine is great. If this car started it would be something incredible.

- That's why I'm upset that it won't start, I like it, a lot.

Marshall and Lucy were discussing the car throughout midnight. Both of them were looking at the engine side by side but neither of them understood the problem. After the debate and discussion, they came home.

- It could still be the electronics, they're straight from hell. - Lucy closed the door behind her.

- It could be anything, really. Maybe the battery is dead. Enough of talking, go to sleep.

- Sure, goodnight.

- Whatever.

Lucy closed her door, but she was still wide awake. For a couple of minutes, she opened her window to let some breeze in. Her computer was inviting her to watch a video she had her eyes on for quite some time: "Racers reactions to Carla Morales's death". She made sure Marshall wouldn't come in and played the video.

There were a lot of racers Lucy didn't recognize.

" - It's umm, yeah, it's hard, it's tough. Every crowd and every person knew who she was. I mean, you showed up to a race, you saw Morales and already knew you're not winning that race"

" - Who would've thought? It was honestly like the car was following her rhythm if that even means something. I'm not saying anything more"

Xander Buckley was the next one being interviewed:

- Buckley, do you have to say anything about the death of Carla Morales? - The interviewer asked.

- If I have to. I always believed motorsport was no place for women, but Carla sure proved me wrong. I won't be a liar, I never have been, I wanted Carla to crash...But not like that. I guess they're right when they say careful what you wish for.

Lucy watched some more interviews before stumbling upon Elliot's interview:

- I mean, if I was second, she was first. One day I told my coach I want to be the best racer in the world. Do you know what he told me? He said no, you have to be more than the best, you have to be better than Carla. When asked about the best racer in history people choose Jim Clark or Michael Schumacher, but I think...I know that Carla was the best in the world. God took her away too early, I like to think it's so that other racers had a chance.

There were tons of tribute videos to Carla and Lucy wanted to watch them all. Analysis of Carla's races, compilations of her overtaking people, even compilations of her laughing. Lucy took a moment for herself to think about everything and anything.

Lucy started tearing up for no apparent reason before going to sleep.
