Demi's POV

The next morning I woke up doing exactly what I have been doing every few hours these past couple of days. Throwing up. I was so over this pregnancy already and I really wanted this morning sickness that was actually all-fucking-day-long sickness to end. Odell was supposed to land at 3:15 pm and he was going to go straight to his apartment that he has out here and get ready with Lani then come and pick me up so we can all go to my parents together. Until then though, I had a meeting to discuss my documentary series that is finally finished! I've been working on this for so long and I am so thrilled to have it released soon. I left to Scooters office at eleven am and got there around 11:30 am to have the meeting with Scooter and the the producer, Michael, as well as a few people that work for the company that filmed my documentary at OBB. There is also a rep from YouTube here since that's the platform we are teamed up with.

"You ready to have this released?" Scooter asks and I nod excitedly.

"Yes! I am so ready! I swear this has been so long in the making." I say chuckling.

"Well because it has. You made us re-film everything and cut half the footage." Michael says jokingly and I laugh.

"Hey, if you had your asshole of an ex in something that means a lot to you then you would do the same." I say smirking as I cross my arms over my chest.

"I know, you're right. I think it's ten times better now anyways and that's not just because we cut him out. I think it shows where you really are as a person now and that's what is important. I think that last relationship was holding you back and even if you're in another one now, you are one hundred percent yourself despite that. That relationship wasn't healthy at all and this one is." Michael says and I smile and nod.

"I totally agree. Anyways, when should we release it?" I ask anxiously.

"When do you want to release it?" Scooter asks.

"I kind of want to release it after my album drops. Cause that way people can actually see the effort and stories that went into my music after they've listened to it. Maybe like a week after?" I suggest and they nod as the rep for YouTube start flipping through their calendar.

"So how about May 22nd. It's exactly a week after and I think that's perfect." The rep asks and I nod.

"That sounds good! Let's set it for that date! When can I announce it?" I ask practically bouncing in my seat as everyone chuckles.

"We are going to go through all the contracts first so they should be done by tomorrow night. So Tuesday morning you can announce it?" Michael answers and I nod.

"Okay, I can't wait! I am so excited for everyone to see it." I say and everyone else has the same enthusiasm as me. The next hour or so was spent discussing the more boring parts of this industry like contracts and the business aspect of it all. When It was finally over though, I got home and took a shower then started getting ready. At around 3:30 pm, I was fully ready and in my living room with my dogs when my phone dings with a text message.

From Baby🥰: We just got to my apartment. We will be there in 40 or so❤️

To Baby🥰: Okay! Take your time and see you guys soon😘😘

Just like Odell said, my doorbell went off exactly forty minutes later and I smile big and I practically float to the door. When I open it up, I see Odell standing there holding Lani against his hip.

"Emi!" Lani shouts throwing herself in my arms and thankfully I was prepared so I caught her and hugged her against my chest.

"You can't throw yourself like that princess." Odell says tickling her stomach as she giggles in my arms.
