the rest of the year went by quickly, jordan being a thorn in umbridges side most of the time.
she got nervous around the time of her owls, but with a lot of studying, she managed to get through the exams and was feeling confident.
"look at my little brainiac." jackie said at breakfast one day, jordan sitting by herself since it was so early.
"hey jackie." she laughed, handing her friend a bagel.
"jords, you have got to be one of the nicest people in the school, or at least in our house." jackie said laughing and jordan raised her eyebrow.
"what's got you in such a good mood today?" jordan asked and just as she did, pansy walked into the hall, looking like a mess.
jackie winked at pansy and the other girl started blushing furiously.
"no way!" jordan said, a smiling forming on her lips.
jackie nodded proudly. "yeah, i think we're a thing now." she told her best friend and jordan hugged her.
"aww jackie i'm so happy for you!" she laughed and jackie smiled.
"i'm so happy jordan, i never thought she would actually like me." she said shyly and jordan shook her head.
"hon, your so gorgeous, amazing, so nice, why wouldn't she like you?" jordan asked and her friend shrugged.
"i don't know, i didn't think she would like me because i'm a girl." jackie said with a laugh and jordan shook her head some more.
"it doesn't matter if you're a girl or a guy, love is love." jordan smiled with her shrug of her shoulders.
jackie smiled brightly. "you truely are the best person jordan, thank you." jackie said with another hug.
"it's the truth. now where's daphne?"
the two waiting at the table for a while before blaise sat down by them.
"morning ladies, has anyone seen my wonderful girlfriend?" he asked but jackie and jordan shook their heads.
"nope, i thought she might be with you." jackie said and before blaise could open his mouth, two letters dropped on the table.
"it's for you two." jackie said confused, blaise and jordan looking at the black envelopes and back at each other.
"um, i think i'm going to go see snape." jordan said, snatching her letter.
"yeah me too." blaise agreed, following her actions, leaving jackie confused as she watched them run out of the hall.
"blaise, you don't think?" jordan asked, trailing off.
"we're only teenagers, there's no way." blaise said with a shake of his head.
jordan sighed as they ran down the stairs to snape classroom.
"professor?" blaise called and snape came out of a closet.
"good morning." he said in a cool tone.
"professor, we got these letters." jordan said, holding hers out, shapes eyes widening as he snatched it.
"have you opened this?" he asked and the two shook their heads.
"no, we came straight to you." blaise told him.
"he wants you there tonight. both of you." snape said, reading through the letter.
"but professor, we're just kids." jordan said in a small voice and snape snapped his neck up so fast, jordan swore she head a crack.
