"you did what?" jordan growled at goyle one afternoon.

goyle gulped nervously and let go of his new badge.

"we joking the high inquisitors. umbridge is running it." he reexplained to her and she looked ready to murder someone.

"so you, crabbe, blaise, and draco?" she asked, dangerously calm.

"um, yes?" goyle squeaked and jordan gave him a death glare.

"where is that ferret?" she asked him and he sheugged.

"last i saw, he was walking with blaise along the black lake." he gladly told her, wanting the attention off him.

"of course he is." jordan growled, leaving goyle and marching out of the common room and outside.

it had started to get very cold out, the year slowly starting to come to an end as it was november already.

"malfoy!" jordan yelled, seeing the blonde haired boy with blaise.

"uh oh. she looks pissed mate." blaise snickered as jordan came up to them.

"you are both morons! draco, how could you?" jordan asked and draco sighed, rubbing his temples.

"i didn't have a choice jones. father wanted it and i want to catch whatever scar head is doing. if you had let me send a letter to your father, maybe we wouldn't be in this mess." he said calm and collected.

"so it's my fault you got roped into whatever that pink puffball is doing by your father?" jordan asked, laughing humorlessly.

blaise had started to move away but jordan shot him a look that kept him in his place.

"you're being over dramatic jordan." draco said and jordan resisted the urge to smack him.

"you saw what she did malfoy. she's done it to other students too. i just can't believe you would actually want to be part of something with her." jordan said sharply, tears brining her eyes as the cold stung her face.

"if you're smart jordan, you'll join too." malfoy said and jordan shook her head.

"i can't believe you malfoy." she told him, walking away.

she continued walking until she was back at the room of requirement.

"cedric." she said, sitting down in front of the mirror and he appeared, mirroring her.

"hey jonesie." he grinning.

"cedric, i can't do this anymore. you aren't real, and it's not helping my mental heath." she said and he gave her a sad smile.

"i know, anytime you need me love, just call." he said, disappearing.

jordan sighed, holding back tears when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"miss jones, that was brave." dumbledore said and jordan narrowed her eyes.

"dumbledore." jordan hissed, standing up and looking up at the old man.

"i know this hasn't been easy for you miss jones, but help will always be given at hogwarts to those who ask." he said and jordan shook her head.

"i don't want help. i want my best friend back. but no, he died in your stupid tournament and you brought up the dark lord more than your own student!" jordan exclaimed, getting mad.

"miss jones, it would be wise to go to the hospital wing and perhaps get a draught of peace." dumbledore told her and she let out a "hmph" and hurried out of the room.

she sighed as she got closer to the common room, tired of the day already and it wasn't even dinner.

"hey jj, came to work on your charms essay?" blaise asked, sitting with daphne and jackie in the common room.

"um, i was going to go to the library, get some peace and quiet for a little." she replied with a sigh.

"what's wrong jonesie?" jackie asked and she shook her head, giving them a smile.

"nothing, just tired." she told them and the two girls shared a look before blaise spoke up.

"well maybe take a nap, charms isn't due until friday." he suggested and jordan nodded, thinking about all the other work she had besides charms.

"i'll take a nap after everything. it's no problem." she said, bidding them goodbye and going to get her work.

she hurried out, glancing at her friends who were doing their work, making her sigh.

jordan got into the library, being a little loud, causing pince to give her a glare from behind her desk.

she made her way to a quiet alcove and started her charms essay first.

she finished it quickly and started her transfiguration one.

about halfway through her transfiguration essay, a familiar face popped into view.

"jones." dean thomas said, sitting down at her little table.

"thomas." she said, glaring at him. "what do you want?"

he sighed and looked around, "look i'm sorry about last year, with seamus and all."

she nodded. "it's okay. i'm over it." she told him.

"i heard your boyfriends in umbridge's little club." he said and she rolled her eyes.

"ugh, he's not my boyfriend and i really couldn't care less about him at this moment. he made a mistake and when he comes back around maybe i won't be here." she complained and dean looked at her head with the scar.

"she made you do it too?" he asked, showing his own hand.

jordans eyes widened and she took his hand, looking at the scribbles.

"this is so messed up dean. why is she doing this?" jordan asked and he shook his head.

"i don't know. she's evil, worse than slytherin evil." he said, giving her a joking grin at the end.

"i just can't believe people actually want to help her." jordan said and he nodded.

"yeah, it's crazy, although i don't think they'll be finding dumbledores army anytime soon." dean told her and she quirked up an eyebrow.

"that's what they're looking for? some club learning how to fight? so that they might actually pass this year? god i hate this school." jordan said with a shake of her head.

"yeah it's stupid. we need her gone." he agreed.

jordan grinned. "just leave it to potter and she'll be gone by the end of the year." she said and he laughed.

"you're pretty cool jones. sorry about seamus again." he said and she nodded.

"it's fine, anyways, i need to finish this but it was nice talking to you." she said and he stood up, giving her a final smile before leaving.

she looked at her paper and sighed, knowing it would be a long evening.
