"jordan, come here!" daphne called one morning while they were in paris, staying at the greengrass manor there.
jordan sighed, putting down her book and walking over to the girl.
they were currently in the library having breakfast as they did most days.
"oh, blaise is going to come visit!" daphne giggled, dancing around, his letter on the table for jordan to read.
"and malfoy?" she asked the dancing girl who nodded.
"yes i suppose he's coming as well." he replied.
"draco's coming? here? oh we must go shopping!" astoria said, snatching the letter from jordan.
"yes! we must! let's get our things together and go at once!" daphne grinned and took jordan's hand, dragging her to her room.
"but, my book." jordan whined, trying to protest.
"no, they're coming this afternoon so we must go this morning." daphne scolded and jordan sighed.
"just because you two want to go shop doesn't mean i want to." she said, fiddling with her necklace.
"where we go, you go." astoria said with a smirk and jordan glared at her.
"fine, but if i go, i pick out what i wear." jordan said and daphne nodded.
"yes of course! go get ready and we'll meet on the stairway in a half hour." daphne grinned and jordan nodded, walking out and over to her room.
she stood in her bathroom staring at herself for a while before washing her face and teeth.
she shrugged off her robe and dressed in her under garments, looking at her clothes daphne made her buy.
she decided on a black, silky slip dress with a blazer over it. she slid on black sheer tights and put on some stilettos. lastly, she slid on sheer black gloves.
she went back to the bathroom and did a little bit of makeup, not wanting to be super noticeable.
to finish getting ready, she grabbed a small purse with her wallet in it, adding her wand, and left, heading to the staircase.
"you know, i think it's better when we can just lounge around in our pajamas all day." jordan said as she moved down the staircase.
"but what fun is that?" daphne said with a grin as she took in jordan's outfit.
"can we just go already?" astoria asked and daphne linked arms with her best friend, heading out to the car that was waiting for them.
jordan just frowned as she watched the country side go by, changing into the city.
"here is good dean." daphne said to the driver as they pulled around to a bunch of high end shops.
"thank you." jordan mumbled as he helped her out and with the two other girls, they looked around.
"chanel first." daphne decided, dragging her sister and best friend into the high end store.
jordan looked around at everything, not very impressed by the jewelry so she started looking at the fragrances.
"need anything mademoiselle?" a man asked coming up to her and she shook her head, nose up as per usual.
"could you get the number five for me? just to test it?" she asked, the english accent distinct from the french ones all around her.
"of course." the man said, taking it out for her.
she sniffed it before nodding.
"yes, that's the one. please package it up. i'll continue shopping." she said, moving around to look at bags and sunglasses.
"anything else?" the man asked once again, coming up to her again and she nodded.
"those sunglasses and that bag if you don't mind." she said cooly and he nodded, grabbing the ones she pointed at.
"this will be all for today." she told him and he nodded, leading her to a register.
she paid and took the bags, meeting up with the sisters at the front of the store.
the three girls followed the same routine before going to a cafe where they would meet the boys for the day.
"daph!" blaise called and the girl smiled at him.
"blaise! i've missed you!" she grinned, walking over to hug the boy.
"malfoy." jordan greeted and he nodded before jordan was shoved out of the way by astoria.
"draco!" astoria yelled, hugging him tightly.
"oh hello astoria." draco said bored.
"did you get my letters?" the younger girl asked and he nodded.
"yes i believe i did. they must've gotten tossed into the fire with all the others." draco said making astoria frown.
"malfoy please be nice to the girl, she's been dreaming of you all summer." jordan grinned and astoria turned around from the two, muttering incoherent words to them.
the two looked at each other before bursting out laughing.
"how's bellatrix?" jordan asked draco as they all sat down around a table.
"she's well, misses you terribly but i'm a good substitute for you." draco replied, looking at the menu.
jordan just rolled her eyes and went through the menu.
before long, everyone was conversing and the sun started to sink.
the two boys bid the girls goodbye and left, the girls heading back to the manor.
jordan was worn out. she hadn't talked that much in what felt like ages. when she got in, she immediately started running her bath.
the world was quiet when she got out, everybody doing something in the manor.
so she decided to go back to the library and finish the book she was reading earlier.
