AN// Make sure you read chapter 49

"Is this the last box?" Niall asks, picking up the moving box. "Yeah, it is," I tell him, grabbing our jackets off the kitchen counter. "Good," he says and I kiss his cheek. "I can't believe we're actually moving in together," Niall says, making me laugh a little. "No, I agree," I tell him and we walk out of my flat, and I close the door. It didn't take more than a month before I was able to move in with Niall. He wanted to keep his flat, so therefore we decided to move in there. "Can you open that?" Niall asks when we're outside, nodding at the car. I open it up and he places the box inside. He turns to me and wraps his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. "I love you," he says, kissing the top of my head. "I love you too," I say, and place a quick kiss on his neck, before pulling away.

"Wait, you have this dress? I've been looking for it forever," I say to Niall when I spot my sundress from the time we went to picnic at primrose hill as I've started unpacking my clothes. He blushes a little, before giving me a slight nod. "I meant to give it back to you, but I forgot about it," he says, before he gets a look of realization. "I kinda wrote a song about it. You had me, sorry, have me whipped," Niall says, his eyebrows dropping a little. "Really?" I ask, folding some clothes and he nods. "Wait, Nialler, are you writing a new album?" I put the clothes down and he smirks. "Yeah. You know I've released Nice To Meet Ya. I'm releasing another song in december," he tells me, and sits down on the floor beside me. "Are you done with every song?" I ask him. "I have three left, I'll show you when I'm done." He pulls his knees up to his chest, looking a lot smaller than he usually is. I nod before sliding closer to him. "It's gonna be amazing. An album people will remember," I say, and push some hair out of his face. "Hopefully. I hope you like it. It's a lot more personal that Flicker. And I hope you won't mind it," he says, looking down. "Why would I mind it," I say, continuing to run my hair through his hair. "I mean, most of it is about you, good and bad," he explains, still keeping his eyes down. "I'll love whatever you make," I tell him, and bring his head up so I can meet his eyes. "You kinda have to," he says with a small smile. "Nope, I have to be honest with you. For me I think honesty means telling the truth, and that's what I'm going to do," I tell him and he smiles. "Yeah, I guess." He leans over and kisses me lightly, and I smile.

"Ok, I'll play you this song, it's being released in december. It's called Put A Little Love On Me," he tells me later, when we're sitting by his piano. He starts playing some notes, a beautiful melody.

You're the only one I need, Put your love on me

When he's done I look up at him, and he smiles. "I absolutely love it, Niall. It's beautiful. I like the lyrics," I tell him and he smiles. "Thank you. And you're the only one I'll ever need, Em." I put my arm around his neck and brought him down to kiss me. "I love you, Nialler," I say when we pull apart. "And I love you," he pulls me closer to him.

"Nialler, what happened to that lamp I broke?" I asked him later that night, when we're lying on the couch, remembering the night in West Palm Beach. "I don't really know. Someone took care of it I guess? I haven't heard anything about it," he tells me, trailing his hand up and down my shoulder. "I felt like an arse for that," I admit, earning a chuckle from him. "Don't. It got paid for," he tells me, tightening his grip around my waist. "When I looked into your eyes that night all I could see was fire, I'm not joking. I really thought we would get back together that night," he tells me, and I bite my lips. "Yeah, I thought so too. But then I remembered you still lived in LA," I say and he kisses the top of my head. "Let's not talk about it. Makes me sad," he hums and I nod. "Yeah."

Niall's POV

"Do you remember Barcelona?" I ask Emily, and she nods. "How could I not remember that," she laughs and I smile. "I loved that vacation. We should travel again at some point," I suggest and she nods. "Yeah. But I want to go somewhere fun. Like not a place everyone is," Emily tells me. I think about it for a second, before an idea comes into my mind. "What? You have that look on your face, like you have an idea," she continues. "Mh, I do. I have the perfect place to go," I tell her and smile. "Tell me." She sits up, leaning her arms on my chest, looking at me. "Nope, it's a secret," I tell her and she rolls her eyes at me. "You're such a tease, Ni, seriously," she tells me, still keeping herself up on her elbows. "I know, gotta keep you interested someway," I joke, earning a small laugh from her. "I would never lose interest in you. You're way too beautiful," she tells me and I blush a little, still not used to being called beautiful. "Stop it, you're making me blush and get all shy," I tell her, and she smiles, leaning down to kiss me.

The next day I wake up before Emily, and walk to my office. I find my computer and start searching up something I saw on instagram once on google. A place called Whitepod eco-luxury hotel in Switzerland. It was kinda like camping, just fancier. I found what I was looking for, a suite up in the mountains. I scroll around a little, before deciding on ordering a long weekend away. "Niall, what are you doing?" I hear Emily say from behind me. I turn around to look at him, and are met by her small frame, standing in the doorway in my shirt. "Nothing much," I tell her, getting up from my chair. "Hm. Keeping secrets from me, huh?" she jokes. I walk over to her and put my arms around her waist. "Sweets, I would never keep any secrets from you," I tell her. That's a lie. I would keep secrets from her if I would have to, and I know that I will at some point. Deeper secrets than booking a vacation. I already am, if I'm being honest with myself. "Is it ok if I work a little?" I ask her, thinking about another song I have in mind. "Sure. I need to head out anyways, I have an interview," she tells me and I nod. "Ok, I'll see you tonight then," I tell her, kissing her softly.

"I think this is perfect for the album, Niall. Both of the songs, really," my producer says over facetime, and I nod. "Yeah, I was thinking the same. I think I want Heartbreak Weather to be the title of the album, and the first track of the album," I tell him and he thinks about it. "Yeah. When did you write Heartbreak Weather?" he asks. "Today," I tell him, looking down at my phone. "Same with No Judgement?" he asks me and I nod. "I made a lyric change to Still as well, or I added it. Emily told me something yesterday, and it hit kinda hard," I tell him, thinking about one of our conversations yesterday. "Tell me." I think about it, finding it a little hard to say the line, but I'm figuring that I should be able to say it if I want to have it in a song. "If honesty means telling you the truth, well I'm still in love with you," I say, shying away a little. "That's really good, Niall. I think that will be absolutely perfect," he tells me and I nod again. We hang up and I get up and stretch. I decide to go out for a jog, and change my clothes.
