So, my friend was reading this story out loud in my dance studio the other day and I don't know who wrote it but it wasn't me so I take no credit for this. I'm just going to retell the story to the best of my ability.
I have a chocolate-chip peanut butter cookie. My dog wants the cookie, but I'm not going to give it to her because it could make her very sick. She wants it so very bad though, and when I don't give it to her, she walks away, dejected. I like to think that the universe is looking out for me in the same way. Where there is something I want very, very badly, and the universe won't give it to me, I like to think it's shaking it's head, saying, "Silly girl. She thinks this is what she wants, but it's really not."
There are bigger reasons why everything may not be happening the way you want it to. Have faith that the world is looking out for you.
