Imagine I've got a crisp and beautiful twenty dollar bill. Do you want it? Probably. Money is great. Go money.
Now imagine I fold it in half. Do you still want it? Of course you do. Money is great.
Now imagine I crumple it up. You still want it, right?
Now what if I throw the crumpled bit on the ground and stomp on it. Now when I pick it back up, it's dirty and crumple-y. But you still want it, right? The value of the dollar hasn't changed.
It's the same way with people. Whether we're crisp, clean, and beautiful, or dirty and crumpled, it's the value of the person that makes a difference. Wouldn't you rather have a dirty twenty dollar bill than a crisp one dollar bill?
