Just Like Me (Ed Elric x Reader)

Chapter 2

You wake up in your basement still, but there’s something soft under your head so it doesn’t lay on the floor.

You look around the room, to see ‘Ed’ sitting in the chair, sleeping.

You slowly sit up, realizing that what your head rested on was a red jacket. You pick it up and look closer at it. It had a cross with a snake on it on the back side. Yep, just like Ed’s.

You hear grumbling coming from the chair. You turn to see ‘Ed’ waking up.

He stretches his arms and yawns. He looks at you, confused.

“Oh, so that was real, I thought I was dreaming,” He said.

“I wish that was a dream. But it’s not, so you have some explaining to do,” You said.

“What’s there to explain? I don’t even know what happened.”

“Well, you broke in my house, shorty.”

“WHO YOU CALLIN’ SHORT?!” He shouted.

“Well, you’re either really good at faking it, or you the real thing.”

“Of course it’s me, who else could be the Fullmetal Alchemist?” He said proudly.

“Well Ed. Do you know how you got here?”

“I woke up in the field back behind your house. I saw the house and snuck in. It’s cold out there; I don’t have my automail set for the cold yet.”

“Oh, about that…” You trail off.

“Yeah, last night you kinda passed out after you saw it. What’s up with that?”

“Well, I’ve never seen automail before, so I was kinda shocked as hell.”

“Oh, wanna see then?”

You nodded anxiously. He takes of his shirt, and you can see his automail clearly now. His scars for the surgery still show on his shoulder. He turns it over; it shines in the basement lighting.

“Whoa, that’s cool as hell man,” You say.

“Check this out too,” He clapped his hands together and then he put his hand over his automail. The plate of his automail shifted until it was a blade.

“So neat! Wait, can’t alchemy not work in this world?”

“Where are we anyway?” Ed asked.

“Um…Earth?”

“Oh, hadn’t noticed,” He said, dripping sarcasm.
