Just Like Me (Ed Elric x Reader)

Chapter 6

You wake up the next morning to the sounds of someone breathing next to you.

You look over the edge of the couch to see Edward sleeping on the floor next to you. You giggle a little.

He's sleeping with his hand on his stomach again. You find this funny and adorable. But you can't help but wonder why he moved out here.

You get up, careful not to wake him up. You go into the kitchen and make breakfast. Fried eggs and bacon. It was the only thing in the house besides cereal to eat for breakfast.

You finish cooking when you hear footsteps from the other room.

Ed must have taken his shoes off, because his footsteps don't sound the same. One sounds normal, the other makes a little clink when he walks.

Ed slowly shuffles into the kitchen.

His hair is out of the braid and he's shirtless again. He smiles at you and you smile back.

"I made eggs and bacon, that okay?" You ask.

"Sure. I love bacon," He replies grogily. He looks really tired still, but you dismiss it.

You hand him a plate and a fork. You take your plate and you both go into the living room to eat.

You both sit in silence and eat, while watching Adventure Time.

You finish eating and put the plates in the sink. Just then your phone rings.

It's your brother, so you answer it.

"Hey, what's up?" You say.

"Hey, me and Collin are takin' a road trip to (Insert place far away). Mom and Dad already know.  I won't be back for a week or two. 'Kay?" He says quickly.

"Sure, whatever, see ya!" You say happily.

You hang up the phone, "Ed! My brother went on a trip, he won't be back for a week!"

"Awesome!" He says.
