Just Like Me (Ed Elric x Reader)

Chapter 3

You head into the living room. You plop down on the couch, Ed plops down surprisingly close to you. You mentally have a heart attack.

You turn on the TV. An episode of Fullmetal Alchemist is still playing on your TV. You try to flip the channel, but Ed notices.

"Hey, what was that?" Ed says, leaning forwards.

You flip it back, "It's an anime...about you..."

"What? That makes no sense."            

"Well, your not....suposed to exist."

"What?!" Ed looks at you like you called him short.

"I mean, your just an anime character in a show, so is everyone else. Like Roy and Alphonse and Winry, they aren't suposed to be real..." You trail off.

"Uhm... your saying I don't exist. That Amestris and all my friends don't exist?" Ed yells.

"No, I think you exist. But I'm the only one."

You both sit in silence, watching the show play out on the TV.

"Wait, that right there!" Ed yells. You stop the episode on Edward fighting #48 in the lab.

"That happened. I remember that. I almost died there. My automail quite on me." Ed says, surprised.

"Yeah, it did happen. So did the rest of all these episodes." You tell him.

"Wow, do I feel violated." Ed says, smiling.

You laugh a little. You look over at Ed. He's staring at the TV. You turn it off on him. He looks at you funny.

"We shouldn't watch that. It's making us both uncomfortable." You say to him. He nods in agreement.

"Well, then, what do we do?" Ed asks.

You don't respond.

"Hey, you alive yet?" He smiles at you.

"Well, should I show you around the house? You're probably staying for a while so..." You suggest.

"Sure, if you want," Ed agrees.
