You wake up to the smell of bacon. You realize Ed’s not next to you.

You sit up and crawl out of bed. You look at the clock, 10:49. You slept really late.

You look around to find a pile of clothes on the end of your bed. You realize you’re still wearing Winry’s dress and take the clothes. You realize there’s a note on the clothes.

The note says: Here, I got you some of my clothes to wear. You can keep them if you like. -Winry

You put them on. You walk down stairs wearing black jeans and a (F/C) tank top. But you keep Ed’s jacket on.

You walk into the kitchen to find Ed cooking bacon and eggs. Just like you had for him.

“Morning,” You say tiredly.

Ed turns to you and you realize he’s shirtless again. Geez, will he ever learn.

“Hey, you were still sleeping, so I snuck out to make food,” He says.

He throws some food onto a plate and hands it to you. You take it into the living room. Ed comes in a few seconds later with his own plate.

“Winry went into town with Alphonse already. They’re spending the day at the place where they’re showing that movie machine. ALL DAY! She’s crazy!” Ed says.

You laugh, “So, what are we doing today?”

“Well, Sorry, but Mustang told me I have some work to do in Central. I’ll be gone all day,” Ed says.

You pout, “Aww, why is he such a meany!”

“I should be back sometime after dinner, so we can have some fun then! Winry’s staying in town at the Inn with Al too.”

“I’ll go into town then. I’ll find something to do,” You tell him, even though you already know exactly what you’re doing today.

“I should get going. I have a train to catch,” Ed finished eating.

“Aww, so soon?” You say.

“The sooner I leave the sooner I get back.”

“GOGOGOGOGO!” You yell. You both laugh at your joke.

“Can I have my jacket?” Ed asks.

“Can I borrow it today?” You ask.

Ed thinks this over, “Sure, just don’t get it dirty.”

“Yay! See ya later!” You yell as he walks out the door.

You sit in the now empty house. You read a book for about an hour, then you get bored.

You decide it’s time to get to work. You put on your converse and close the door behind you. You reach into your pocket and pull out the list.

You read it over one more time. You slip it into the pocket of Ed’s jacket. You reach into the other pocket and pull out some money you ‘borrowed’ from Ed.

You start walking on the long road into town. You smile to yourself, smelling the collar of Ed’s jacket.

Cinnamon.
