Chapter 17

Alone time together

3 hours later, the bell rang which means that school is finally over as everyone puts their books away and walked out of the school. Amy walked out of the classroom and saw her friends waiting for her. She smiled as she walked towards them and gave them a surprise hug.

"Hey guys!" Amy said happily as Maria and Blaze giggled.

"Wow. You seem more happier then this morning. What's been making you more happier?" Blaze said as Amy giggled happily.

"Ohhhh. Its nothing really, I just feel really joyful today that's all" Amy said with a big smile on her face.

"Come on, tell us" Maria said as Amy giggled again.

"Wellllllll, Sonic offered me to hang out with him at his house today!" Amy squealed jumping up and down excitingly.

"Awwww. That's amazing!" Maria said happy for Amy.

"Wait, so does that mean you and Sonic hanging out together alone at his house?" Blaze asked.

"Yyyyyye-" Amy then paused for a moment thinking about it more clearly. Blaze just couldn't help but smirk at Amy. Amy then blushed madly and started to panic a little "OMG!!! I didn't think this straight! I didn't even wore my lucky head band! Do I look okay?! Do I smell bad?!" Amy said in panic as she fixed herself up. Maria and Blaze giggled at Amy as Blaze puts her hands on Amy's shoulders.

"Amy, calm down. You look great. You worry to much" Blaze said to calm Amy down. Amy took a deep breath and let it out and nodded.

"Okay, I'm calm now" Amy said smiling as Maria and Blaze smiled back.

"Good. Now come on, Sonic must be waiting for you outside" Maria said as Amy couldn't help but blush and nodded laughing nervously a little. The three girls then walked out of the school together. The three then saw Sonic standing near the school gate.

"Go on" Blaze said pushing Amy forward. Amy sigh as she walked towards Sonic nervously. Sonic saw Amy walking towards him as he smiled at her.

"Hey Amy" Sonic said as Amy waved her hand nervously blushing a little.

"U-Uhmmm h-hey" Amy said nervously and giggled nervously. Sonic chuckled a little.

"Bye you two and have fun together!" Maria yelled for the two hedgehogs to hear her as Maria and Blaze walked their way to their houses. Amy blushes more as she covered her face with her hands. Sonic saw this as he smiled softly.

"Hey, you okay?" Sonic asked as Amy nodded still covering her face with her hands.

"Y-Yeah, I-I'm just a bit e-embarrassed" Amy said as she uncovered her blushing face but was looking down. Sonic lifted her head up to look at her.

"There's no need to be embarrassed Amy" Sonic smiled softly at her. Amy couldn't help but smiled back at him as she nodded. Sonic puts his hand out to Amy "Come on, let's go to my place" Sonic said. Amy blushed a little as she held Sonic's hand.

"O-Okay" Amy said stuttering a little as they walked their way to Sonic's house holding hands. When they arrived, Sonic opened the door wide enough for Amy to go inside first.

"After you" Sonic bowed as Amy giggled.

"Why thank you" Amy then stepped inside. Sonic walked inside as well while closing the door behind him. The two hedgehogs puts their bags down on the couch and sat down together.

"Hey Sonic!" Sonic and Amy turned their heads seeing Tails walking down the stairs while holding a box.

"Hey bud" Sonic replied as Tails walked towards him. He then notice Amy sitting beside him as he looked at him in the eyes.

"Hey Sonic, who's this?" Tails asked looking at Amy as Sonic looked at her for a moment then back at Tails.

"Oh. This is Amy a friend of mine" Sonic said as Amy waved hello with a smile on her face.

"Ohhh right, I remember her. I saw her during your birthday party" Tails said. Sonic chuckled as he ruffled Tails's head.

"Yup, so what's in the box Tails?" Sonic asked pointing at the box that Tails was holding. Tails looked at the box for a moment and smiled.

"Oh, inside is some parts for me to make my Science project. So I'm going to my friends house to build it with them. Is that alright Sonic?" Tails said. Sonic smiled and nodded.

"Of course bud. But you have to come back home at 5:00 pm" Sonic said as Tails nodded.

"Alright, thanks!" Tails said as he ran out of the house. Amy and Sonic chuckled.

"He must be a really smart kid" Amy said as Sonic nodded.

"Yeah he is, he is even a senior high student already from how smart he is" Sonic said. Amy's eyes widened in shock.

"Really?! How old is he now anyway?" Amy asked.

"His 13" Amy was shock hearing that.

"His so young!" Sonic chuckled at how surprise Amy is.

"Yeah. When he was in elementary school he was the smartest kid in his school so the teacher wanted him to be a senior high student from how smart he is"

"Wow. That's amazing"

"Hehe. Yeah" Sonic and Amy then talked some more about themselves and what their goals are. Sonic would also crack some jokes to make Amy laugh. Slowly, the two got to know more about each other bit by bit. For Sonic, he was having a warm feeling in his heart whenever he is around Amy now but doesn't know why he feels that way. Amy's feelings for Sonic has grown more and more every minute being with him. The two also watched a movie together. An hour later, Tails got home and saw the two hedgehogs watching a movie in the living room so he decided not to disturb them and walked up to his room. Amy then check the time and it was now 5:00 pm.

"I should head back home now" Amy said getting up and grabbing her bag. Sonic then grabbed Amy's arm making her look at him.

"Hey, how about you have dinner here. I'll take you home when dinner's over" Sonic said which made Amy blush and smile.

"Sure Sonic, I'd love to" Amy said as Sonic smiled happily. The two made dinner together while talking to each other. Tails was watching them from a far and couldn't help but smile at the two. Soon, they all ate dinner together happily.
