When I saw who gave the twins to a stranger I could feel my blood boiling.Although her reason was going to be valid she forgot that I have all the pack records and I remember that her mate killed himself after he found out she cheated on him.
This woman is definitely Genevieve 2.0.The difference is that Genevieve can fight if she wants to.I could tell from the short dress,fake nails and pink hair that she has some money.So they probably paid her or she wanted some kidnapped of revenge.
"So you say that your mate was taken."Scarlet probably reading my mind literally steps away from the woman.I stand up and circle the woman making sure to add a little growl here and there.
"Y-yes alpha."She looks down probably scared that I would see the lies in her eyes.
"Tell me here.If they took your mate.Who did we bury and mourn for two years back."She inhales a sharp breath.I got her right where I wanted her.I took out some information and now the ball is in her court.
"I-I.Okay okay!It's just that they offered me a lot of money and revenge for that little thing you call a mate.Alex we are meant to be together.I killed my mate for you,but you go and choose this little bi-."Scarlet didn't waste time in punching her.I was also starting to get irritated.
"YOU GAVE MY CHILDREN TO A STRANGER ALL BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO BECOME LUNA."I could feel even my wolf wince at Scarlets tone.It was full of anger and anguish.
I see the woman whimper and try to physically make herself smaller.She immediately bared her neck as a sign of submission.I knew that Scarlet isn't going to calm down anytime soon so I had to get this woman out of here cause I need her for further interrogation.
"Guards please take her to the dungeons.They nod and drag the woman out.I pull Scarlet closer to me rubbing her back soothingly hoping to calm her down slightly.I could feel her calming down slowly as she inhaled my scent.
"We need to find our babies Alex and make them pay."I nod as I agree with her.We need to find the babies and win the war then we can finally have our family time.
"Let me go interrogate that women.Maybe she could tell us where to find them."Scarlet nods and kisses my cheek.I feel tingles where her lips were.
"I'll stay here and try to see what else I can get."I nod and peck her temple.I walk downstairs and decide to pass by the kitchen to check on things.When I get there I find the kitchen empty.
I then grab an energy bar and walk to the dungeons.When I get there I find that they already put the women in an interrogation room.She looked nervous as she kept looking around and playing with her fingers.Her leg was bouncing up and down pretty fast making me realise she is REALLY nervous.
When I walk in the room she stops bouncing her leg and tries to make it seem like she is confident,but she doesn't know that I know she is actually nervous.
"So miss?"
"Monroe.Darthy Monroe."I could hear the slight pitch in her voice telling me she is scared.
"So miss Monroe I want you to tell me everything that happened leading to you willingly giving my babies to the enemy."She looks around again and clears her throat.
"I am not saying anything without meeting my mother first."I chuckle coldly and stand up walking behind her.I crouch a little bit down so I am level with her head.
"Do you think I will give you that kind of access.Dont forget you also deprived my babies with that access."She inhales sharply making me know that I am getting somewhere.Now for the ultimate strike.
"You know I would be ashamed if you were my mate.Killing me and then planning to help an enemy kidnap two children that are so innocent and didn't even know there was something called harm."I could see the guilt starting to eat her up.I leave the room letting her sink into her guilty thoughts.Hopefully that will make her confess to everything and tell us where they might be keeping the twins.
Deciding to also use this method on Genevieve I went to her cell.When I got there I found her sitting in the corner looking like if she stands she could fall to her death.When she sees me she tries to smile,but I guess her energy was too drained for that.
"So how are the twins."Deciding not to let my emotions get in the way I ignore her.
"You know Genevieve I remember when we were younger.You were never like this.You used to be my close friend Genevieve and I used to look up to you.Now I just don't know who you are."I can see her tearing up probably thinking about the memories we had from our childhood.
"I sometimes hope that my old friend would come back.I sometimes wish that this is a dream and the Genevieve I know will be my supporter through this hard times when I wake up."I sigh and walk away.Hopefully I killed two birds with one stone today.
When I got home I found Scarlet sitting on the couch crying while holding both the twins jumpers.I quickly embraced her as she cried and sobbed in my chest.
"This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't left.I should have stayed."I can't let her carry all this guilt around.
"Scarlet it wasn't your fault.We both didn't know that there was a mole in the pack who was going to give our babies to the enemy."She nods as snuggles closer into me.
Destiny walks in holding a plastic bag full of different herbs.She placed the bag on the table and walked towards us.She sat next to Scarlet.
"Scarlet if you can drink this herbs they might help you find the twins.A bond children have with their mothers can be unlocked by this herbs."I see Scarlet instantly become interested.
It's time to find our babies.
