''I'm not scared of you''

the rouge avengers were back, and tony wasn't happy about it.

tony was not happy that bucky was staying in the tower and was constantly doing small things to him. for example sometimes tony would bump into bucky's shoulder when he walked past him, or never letting peter stay in the same room as bucky alone. steve was slowly getting more and more annoyed, until eventually he snapped... whist bucky was there

bucky was sat on the couch with his head in his hands, listening to steve and tony argue about him in the kitchen. said kitchen is connected to the sitting room, which is where bucky was sitting...

''why do you hate him so much?!'' ''he killed my parents! and he tried to kill me!'' ''he was brain washed! its not his fault'' ''well what if he switches back? I can't put peter in danger like that!'' ''he has changed!! he had the conditioning removed!''

at this point peter had just come back from school. peter had no problem with bucky, he actually wanted to get to know him.

when peter found bucky sat on the couch. he immediately went to his room and grabbed his super sense noise cancelling headphones and ran back down to bucky, putting the headphones on him and blocking out the fight.

bucky put his head up, wondering why the noise had stopped. he locked eyes with peter who was staring back with worry in his eyes. that confused bucky. why did peter help? why wasn't he scared of him?

peter saw the confusion in bucky's eyes and signalled for him to follow peter to his room (peter's room). when they got there peter put soundproofing on the room so bucky couldn't hear the fight.

bucky took off the headphones and moved away from peter. bucky was stood in the corner, as far away from peter as possible.

peter looked a bit hurt before realising why bucky had moved away. ''I'm not scared of you'' peter said sincerely, bucky looked at him in disbelief. peter then realising this, walked over to bucky and and enveloped him in a missive bear hug. at first bucky was tense before breaking.

bucky and peter stood there for 5 minutes, bucky just crying into peters shoulder whilst peter comforted him.

peter then moved them both to his bed and put a film on whilst bucky fell asleep
