when peter was in the lab with tony he spilt oil on his sweater, and peter being peter was not wearing a t-shirt underneath. so he simply just didn't take his jumper off.
that was until tony noticed the oil and asked Friday to notify steve and tell him to bring an extra sweater.
steve, is alot taller than peter. when steve brought an extra sweater he brought his own, meaning that it was too big for peter.
peter took advantage of the massive sleeves and started waving his sleeve covered hands around whilst yelling 'sweater paws!' with a smile.
neither will admit this, but both steve and tony cooed at peter, thinking he was adorable.
it is safe to say steve never got his jumper back
