What if Steve and bucky share a room because they are the only ones strong enough to hold eachother down when they become violent in their sleep due to nightmares. But what if Steve goes away on a mission and buck falls asleep on the sofa with everyone else and has a nightmare causing everyone otyer than peter to stand on the other side of the room.

Peter shuffles over to bucky and just envelopes him in a massive bear hug and eventually bucky wakes up and sees everyone on the other side of the room and immediately starts to feel ashamed untill peter starts speaking softly to him, but its quiet enough that everyone to hear it but he is just there like

"Hey, bucky, its okay you know. I used to have nightmares all the time, I would wake up screaming and thrashing, I even broke my fist when I punched a wall once, not to mention the time I screamed that loud that I woke everyone up because I thought I was under that building again. But trust me, its okay and its nothing to be ashamed of, I will always be here for you and you will never need to worry about hurting me"

"Your okay"

"You are not there anymore"

"They can't get you anymore"

And everyone quietly leaves the room because it breaks their hearts seeing them both that sad

And bucky just hugs peter really tightly and sort of half cries into his shoulder whilst peter comforts him

I dont know what the fuck this is and I am sorry for not updating but I feel shit and I look shit and I fucking hate being alive
