Chapter 2:

(Alice's P.O.V.)

I hopped out of the car as Harry began making his way down the sidewalk to my car, grabbing my things out of the trunk. "Why thank you, You're such a gentleman,' I said with a slight sarcastic tone in my voice. "No worries." He began, "I only did it because I have awesome news to tell you and you're massively slow." He said with a smirk. My jaw dropped and I shot him a dirty look. With that he stuck out his tongue and made his way to the front door. He opened it and yelled out. "Mum! Alice is here!" We made our way through the living room to the kitcen, where Anne's head appeared at the top of he staircase.

She smiled, "Hey sweetie, sorry I've been working on cleaning the house all day," she said and rolled her eyes, going back to work. "Now let's take your stuff downstairs so I can tell you the news!" Harry said to me and quickly darted for the basement door with my stuff in his hands.

We came down the stairs to the basement and he set my things inside his room. The basement consisted of one massive room with a flat screen and Harry's game systems, Gemma's things, along with a bar and pool table.

"So!" Harry began excitedly, "I was thinking, and I talked to my mum about it and she said yes. "continue" I said. "They're holding auditions for X-factor next week, and I'm going to audition!" He looked at me with a huge smile on his face, displaying his perfectly straight, white, pearly set of teeth. I couldn't belive what he was saying. I knew he had a great voice and he would sing to me all the time. Those where great times. I haven't heard him sing his hidden talent in a while. But most of all what will i do if he does make the X-factor? Will i still see him? I began worrying and my eyes started watering.

"That's great!" I managed to choke out. His smile faded slightly and he gave me a funny look, "Are you okay?you don't seem excited.." he said. "No, no, Harry I'm extremely happy for you, you just really caught me off guard," I retorted. He shrugged and pulled me into an all too familiar hug, "Good, because you're coming with me to my audition," He added and I knew there was no arguing with that.
