After a long suffocating hug that nearly ended my life, I finished eating my food. The entire night basically consisted of conversations about Iquissa, and only Iquissa. My past. This was going to take some getting used to.
However, there was one conversation that captured my interest in particular. After talking more about my time in the earth world, someone brought up the fact that I was by far not the only "Earthlander" to come to the SMASH dimension. If I had known that before now, spending my time here would've been so much more peaceful for me.
What really took me by surprise was the fact that there have been a lot of people coming from earth, not just 2 or 3 others. Their names were something like Chrysalis, Jocelyn, Kayla, Cody, Cerise, they weren't kidding when they said they have met a lot of people in the past. Meeting them one day would be like shaking hands with celebrities to me.
Anyway, I finally got my own room sorted out. It was the spare room at the very end of the hall, next to the window with the ladder. I don't see why they just didn't give me that room in the first place, but they probably didn't trust me at first. Nonetheless, it was probably the best room they could give me.
After a long, exhausting conversation about my childhood during dinner time, I headed back to my room for a decent night's rest. Robin walked up with me, and we hugged each other goodnight before we went into our own rooms.
Honest to goodness, I am a clean freak. Everything has to be in a specific place in my room, or else I just go on a rampage. I now always keep my staff next to my bed in case anything happens. Standing up, exactly vertical, leaning off the wall so it's stable.
The next day was fabulous. It was the first time I witnessed Smash Bros in action. Even though I came here when I was little, I never actually got to see how it looked whilst it was functioning. Turns out that no one was having matches for about 2 weeks and they were all taking a break, which happened to be at the same time when I came here.
Every now and then you would hear the loud booming of Master Hand's voice, which always made me jump out of my skin. The first couple of times was very exciting for me, hearing Master Hand, but then after a while I just became plain scared of him. Honesty, he just sounds like a grumpy old man most of the time.
When you were called for a match against someone, you were required to go into this plain white room. It was very small, but a bit like the gym I trained in. This is where you would teleport to the chosen stage.
People who are not chosen to participate in matches, can freely choose whether or not they would like to watch the current match. As if it's in the middle of nowhere, the spectator's window is placed right in front of the stage, which pretty much has the same view as you do when you play the game itself on wide screen TV. It even shows the players percentage on the window so we can see the progress being made.
Every match had differently selected items. Some of them didn't even have items at all. Whenever I played Smash Bros, I'd usually just throw my items at people, rather than using them for their intended purpose. So when I saw Ike and Marth continuously throw items at each other during their match, the crowd was in hysterics. Best thing I could have possibly ever witnessed in my life.
Surprisingly, I was called up for 3 matches. I was up against Rosalina for one match, and then Pit the next. I'm positive Pit just let me win since he saw me get my butt kicked in my first ever match, which was to be expected I guess.
The next battle was a tricky one. Not only did I find it difficult, but my opponents weren't playing nicely. We played on one of my favourite stages, The Colosseum in omega form. I was up against Sonic and Falco.
