Well this just got extremely awkward. Why did Noah have to open his mouth and say that to Nick? Nick was perhaps the biggest asshole I have ever dated. He was jealous, prissy, horny and annoying. I don’t even remember why I even dated or what I had even been thinking about that night. Ok, so maybe I can – Maybe I was just really desperate – that or I was drunk. I mean Nick was an attractive guy and I don’t regret that. He was just lacking in personality. Our break-up had actually been cordial. I mean we broke up because we both decided that a long distance relationship would not work. But now he was back for good. Oh lord!

“How old are you? You look like a kid,” Nick said.

“Kid!? I’m –“

“Aha! Nick! Come to my room and tell me about Tanzania,” I said cutting in awkwardly. Noah glared at me as I grabbed Nick’s hand and pulled him towards my room. I closed the door shut behind me. I could hear Mason and Daniel laughing hysterically behind me. Assholes!

“I like it when you rough handle me Jay,” Nick said playfully as I let go of him.

“Stop being an ass,” I rasped. “You’re lucky I’m letting you stay here.”

“I didn’t ask for your permission – Mason extended an invitation,” Nick said running his hand along my back. “I missed you Jay by the way. The whole time I was in Tanzania I thought about you and us. But now I come back to see your screwing children. Seriously how old is he?”

“None of your business,” I growled.

“What is he sixteen? He looks like a teenager,” he groaned. “You’re taking them in young. Is he your boyfriend?”

“No he is not – he’s a temporary house guest,” I said plainly.

“You totally screwed him,” Nick said plopping onto my lap. “Do you like him? Are you in love? How long has he been here?”

“Why are you so concerned with Noah for?” I asked.

“Because I care about you babe,” he said crushing his lips against mine. He nibbled on my lower lip a little, before he broke the kiss.

“Yeah Right! You only care about getting laid,” I said standing up, causing him to fall off my lap. He laughed at that statement.

“Your one to talk,” Nick retorted. “Sleeping with kids – I’ve never been that desperate. I don’t rock the cradle. It’s not my style.”

“I didn’t rock the cradle! He’s 18,” I muttered.

“18! A high school kid,” Nick laughed. “Oh Jay! You’re killing me.”

“Oh shut up,” I groaned.

“Hey Noah,” Nick called out for him. I rolled my eyes at Nick as he stared at the door.

“Nick – Don’t do anything stupid,” I shook my head.

“Calm your granny panties,” he smiled as Noah walked into the room. “Hi Noah. I think we got off on the wrong foot earlier. I apologize for being so blunt. It’s just I get insanely jealous when it comes to my Jay. “

Oh brother.

“I understand completely,” Noah replied. “Jayson knows how I feel about him.”

“Oh does he? And how do you feel? I’m curious,” Nick prodded.

“I love him and I know he loves me back,” Noah pushed. Nick bit his lip as he tried to hold back his laughter.

“Desperate much,” Nick chuckled. I hit Nick in the shoulder.
