It had been a couple of months since the incident and Josies memory loss of her fiancé. Hope has spend 24/7 with the girl and they only seem to argue or stay in silence. The arguments were normal but what wasn't was Josies cold and harsh demeanor. Every time Hope heard a change in her fiancé voice she knew she had to shut her mouth before she said anything that would hurt the girl. The last thing Hope wanted was to give Josie a reason to leave her.

Hope was currently at the cafeteria getting some food for Josie. She already knew when Penelope would drop by so figured she'd at least get her fiancé some breakfast that she would actually enjoy for once. As she was walking down the hall she noticed Roman idly looking out the window in the small area outside the room. Hope was about to say something but decided against making a scene. She went into Josie's room and placed her food on the bed table. Josie was playing on the laptop; looked at it for a bit before turning back to what she was doing.

Hope didn't say anything, only placing the food close to the girl before she could turn to leave. Josie didn't stop her or anything she just took a bite out of her pancakes and smiled but Hope's back was already turned to see it.

Hope was walking home from her long walk trying to calm herself down. It had been a couple of months since Josie and Hope had last talked due to their misunderstanding. Truth was, Josie was the one who would be avoiding Hope at all costs. Not like Hope cared, or at least she tried not to. But she still yearned for the girl. Being without her felt lonelier then she had ever felt before. She felt empty and off balance without her missing half.

It really hit Hope hard when she learned that Josie had quiet the soccer team. She quit the only thing she ever loved since she was a kid, the thing that she called her own that she shared it with no one; no one but Hope and for her to just quit made no sense. Hope only joined the soccer club to spend time with Josie, and through the years she actually enjoyed it and found passion in the sport.

Now as she walked alone to her game, she saw her. Josie casually heading a soccer ball trying to keep it up, or doing high kicks with it, dribbling it up and down her yard. And when she wasn't busy showing off her amazing soccer skills, she'd just sit on the curb with the ball between her feet, listening to music, reading. Hope hated it more then anything because it only proved that Josie quit soccer because of Hope and she still enjoyed playing the sport.

She finally had enough and walked over to the younger girl. Little did Hope know that encounter would end up being her last.

"Seriously, you've been avoiding me since we got out on summer vacation and then you quit soccer only for you to be kicking the ball around. Have you gone mental" Hope narrowed her eyes glaring at the girl. She was mad. Josie kicked the ball up, catching mid air as she turned to walk back into her house. Hope however didn't want her to leave. She grabbed her hand and pinned her against the wooden fence that led to the backyard. Josie grabbed Hopes arm pushing it away.

"You knows what sad" Josie sadly laughed trying to keep her voice steady. "When two people really get to know each other: their secrets, their fears, their favorite things, what they love, what they hate, literally everything and then they go back to being strangers. It's like you have to walk past them and pretend like you never knew them, never even talked to them before, when really, you know everything about them." Josie gently pushed Hope back getting out of her hold walking away once more. Hope grabbed Josie wrist preventing her from leaving.
