Hope was laying on her hospital bed on her computer trying desperately to get rid on the gut feeling that suddenly began to nag at her. It had been bothering her all day, not letting her sleep. She was currently looking at places to have her honeymoon with Josie after the wedding. Josie already been to Europe so she crossed that off the list. Maybe a tour around Asia would seem like fun. Before she had time to click the different romantic locations a message popped up on her computer. It was from Josie letting her know she was finally done with work and she'll meet her at the hospital. Hope couldn't help but smile.
Hope picked up her phone and decided to call her. The phone continued to ring over and over again however, Josie didn't answer. Hope decided to text Josie once more. She pressed the phone onto her lips anticipating the next message that came through the phone.
Hope re-read the message over and over again. She felt her ring vibrate softly as a red glow began to pulsate. Hope concentrated on the glow and the vibration. It was an SOS. She began to remove all of her wires and IVs from her body. She was glad Josie had brought over some clothes since she spent the nights with her in the hospital. Hope quickly changed not wasting any time. She slowly opened the door and noticed doctors and nurses roaming the halls. She closed the door and made her way back inside. She looked out the window contemplating her better option and jumping wasn't one of them. Hope put the hood over her head and made her way out the door hoping to avoid anyone and everyone.
This time I won't be stupid. Hope thought as she began to run out the hospital. She took out her phone and began to track Josies whereabouts. The location pinged on her phone and it definitely wasn't the office nor anywhere near it. She took a deep breath before bringing the phone to her ear.
"Jed I need you to meet me at the hospital. Bring me my fastest car" Hope breathlessly let out. Before Jed could even say anything she hung up the phone running her fingers through her hair. Her phone pinged once more this time it was a video. Hope felt a rock-hard knot in her throat.

"Hope don't worry about me... Don't try and come here!" Josie said calmly yet Hope heard the shaking in her voice. Josie was scared but trying desperately to stay strong. Hope saw Roman and Penelope making their way out into the frame.
"If you want to save your little fiancé. You know what you have to do. You already know where Josie is don't you. All we want is you Hope... who's choice was it to die? Do you know how much I waited for you? You killed my family. So you have to find me. Or else you're new family will end the same way mine did" Roman firmly spoke as he pointed a gun to Josies temple. "Now it's her turn. I will make a hole in her forehead with a gun.... wait—"
"Nope Hope don't come here. Please" Josie voice sounded weary now. Hope saw in Josies eyes... she was plummeting into an abyss of pure animal terror. Josie no longer had rational thoughts in her head, she seemed to be almost insane with fear. Hopes own memories swarmed into her mind. The days in a beast like state in which the world of humanity simply didn't exist. Total darkness, the feeling of the very existence of a world outside of the darkness slipping away, and a complete loss of any sense of the passage of time.
