KATNISS' POV
I stand up from my safe spot under the tree and walk to my car. It's around three-thirty, so Prim and my mom aren't home yet. I can easily grab a bag and put my belongings in it.
I'm just hoping Peeta isn't there.
Soon, I reach my street and I don't see anything happening around my house. I drive to my house and quickly get inside my house. Everything was just as it was this morning. I take a deep breath and burn the images of my kitchen and living room in my mind.
I walk upstairs and into my room. I grab a black backpack and stuff some clothes in it. I walk into my bathroom and put some stuff in my bag. I make sure I have my wallet with me, but leave my continuously buzzing phone on my desk.
I have to write a note for my mom. I find a pen and a piece of paper and start writing. Once I'm satisfied with what it says, I leave.
Leave my home. Leave my family. Leave my memories. Leave everything.
I walk outside my house and lock the door, as if I was never there. As if I never was anywhere near it. I get inside my car and check the fuel. I still have enough of it.
Enough to go where I want to.
I start my car and drive out of my street, looking back once more at my house, leaving all the memories behind.

Don't worry, I'll update the next chapter right away but I just needed a little filler chapter. Because in the next chapter there will be a time jump lol.
It's my brothers birthday today!
