A Sonadow Christmas

December 4th (Eggman Attacks)

POV: Sonic, 1:23 P.M.

Its these days I love to relax. Yes; I know Eggman's going to attack, but it's such a nice day. I never had lunch today, So I make a sandwich and go sit outside in my backyard. The backyard isn't that that big, but it has room for a hammock and a small patio.

I laid on the hammock while staring up out the sky. There aren't any clouds in the sky, but It still love it. The warmth from the sun feels nice against my fur.

*Play Music*

BOOM

I quickly sit up to the sound of explosions coming from the front of my house. I run through the house and out the front door. I open the front door and I am greeted by Metal Sonic with Eggman trying his best to hide behind the bushes. "Nice job staying subtle, Egg Head." I say and then look at Metal. "As for you, you ready for me to kick your butt?" I smirk. He gets ready to attack; I think he wants to start.

In the blink of an eye, me and Metal are a few inches apart, pushing on each other and me using my feet to keep my ground. A great idea suddenly appeared in my head; I let go and move over, letting Metal fly toward my house. Like I had planned, he kicked off of the house and came back at me with full force, but I was prepared. Right when he came back, I grabbed onto his lags and flipped him over me, leaving him immobilized while being slammed into the concreate sidewalk.

"Come on, I know you're not done yet. I was just getting warmed up." I snickered after a few seconds which Metal didn't get back up. Just when I started to walk away, I feel an intense pain in my abdomen. I look down to see Metal's hand punching my stomach. I back away, just enough for him to stop. He looks at me, ready to go again. I put my hand over my hurting gut to stop the slight bleeding and wipe it off. Metal; noticing me weakness, goes in for another. This time though, I was able to stop his first punch, but then he caught me off guard and kicked my leg, causing me to fall over.

He steps onto my leg, which makes me let out a loud yell. I tried to get up, but the more I tried to get my leg out, the more pressure he put on me. I really don't think that I'll be able to get out of this one.

Suddenly, I see something green come into view, and Metal gets blasted away over to the other side of the road, creating a crater in the road.

"Get up faker, you're alright." I hear as I get up. My leg hurts and what I can tell bleading too, nut I turn to face the voice. "Shadow, what are you doing here?!?" I looked at the ebony hedgehog, looking directly at Metal as he slowly got up.

"Your little friend contacted everyone, and I was the closest one to the drama. Your stupid friends will be here shortly." He says as he got ready to make another chaos spear. "Hey, I have an idea to get rid of him in one go..." I tell him the plan.

I dash up to Metal; who got up and was on high alert, while Shadow threw another chaos spear. I ran next to it and grabbed it. When I grabbed it, I ran as fast as I could with it until o got about 20 feet away from him. I then rolled up into a ball and spin-dashed right into Metal.

I watched as sparks flew out of the robot, when everything suddenly exploded. Both me and shadow were thrown back from the explosion, but we both remained on our feet. After that, I collapsed onto the blacktop from the pain.

*Stop Music*

"Sonic, are you alright?!?" Tails yelled as he ran out of the house with a medical kit. He stood beside me as Shadow walked over to investigate the matter. "Yeah buddy, don't worry." I reassure him as I get up. When I put pressure on my left leg, a sharp pain rushes from my ankle to my upper thigh. Tails noticed this and immediately went to my side and helped hold my side off of the ground to reduce pressure.

"Thanks S-Shadow for the help. And you Tails, tell everyone that they aren't needed. The last thing is to have Amy come over on a day I can't run away from her." I say as I watch Eggman get into his eggmobile and run back to his lair.

"Tch, just go get some rest faker." Shadow smiles and then chaos controls away. Tails nods and helps me get into the house and onto my bed. When I lay onto the bed, it's like a weight has been lifted from me. My leg still hurts, so Tails bring me some Tylenol. I take it and I try to rest for the rest for the remainder of the day.

I really hope I'll be better by Sunday or even Monday.
