A Sonadow Christmas

December 18th (Shadow and Siblings!?)

POV: Shadow

I feel something in my grasp as I open my eyes. I have a sharp pain in my head and I knew that I wasn't in my bed. I thought that Rouge might've taken me to her house but I hear... purring? I quickly open my eyes and sit up, and I couldn't believe my eyes.

I look over to see that I wasn't in my room, but Sonic's room. Not only that, he was snuggled up against me purring, a smile on his muzzle. "Chaos, how much did I drink..." I muttered as I tried my best to not wake him up as I got out of his bed and went downstairs to see Tails talking to three more Hedgehogs.

"Um..." I say to get their attention. Tails looks at me surprised, but otherwise calm. "Shadow, why are you still here?"

"I don't know myself, but I should be going now," I say as I walk to the door. I didn't take an emerald but rather my motorcycle. Even though it was cold, I like to ride it at times. When I open the door, I just see a wall of snow covering the way out. "What is this?!?" I said frustrated.

"I was trying to tell you, a huge storm came about 4 hours ago and now we are all snowed in. Luckily, Sonic's mother and siblings made it here before it got bad..." I look over to the three other hedgehogs. "So, you are Sonic's mother I presume?" I walk over to the purple-haired hedgehog. "Yea, I am Aleena, and this is Sonia and Manic." She says pointing to the other."

I know that Sonic had siblings, but I've never actually met them. "Pleasure." Say as I nod. I soon hear the sound of the stairs which means that Faker is up. "Oh, you guys are...here..." he stops and looks at me, "Shadow, I thought you would be gone by now?"

"As much as I would love to leave you all, we appear to be snowed in." Sonic nods as he goes into the kitchen.

POV: Sonic

I walk into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and recollect my thoughts. 'Ok, so Shadow will be stuck here until the snow melts and he can leave. That won't be too long, right?' I think to myself as I pour the coffee into a mug and come back out into the group of people.

"Sorry guys, I missed you," I say as I hugged my mom. "Aww, my little boy..." I blush at the compliment. Shadow scoffs as I try to get out of her grip. "Mom, don't give Shadow another reason to make fun of me," I say as I glare at the ebony hedgehog. He smirks as I roll my eyes at his remark.

"Hey bro, how's life." Manic walks up to me along with Sonia. "I'm good. Did Tails show where you'll be sleeping?" I asked and they all shook their heads, even Shadow.

"Ok, Mom and Sonia are going to sleep in the spare bedroom; one on the couch (in the room), and one in the bed. Manic, you'll sleep with me and as for you." I look at shadow, who also looks at me. "You'll have to sleep on the couch." He nods like he already knew that.

For the rest of the day, we all talked, had dinner, and went to bed, leaving just me and Shadow. We were both on opposite sides of the couch watching TV until he spoke. "About last night, why was I in your bed?" I blushed slightly, remembering what happened last night. He looked at me confused.

"You were drunk and went into my room and laid down next to me. When I tried to confront you, you..." I stopped and looked at him. I blushed and he could tell, which scared me a little. "What did I do?" He said, this time with more anger in his voice.

"Y-You... kissed me."

His ears went down in embarrassment as he realized just what he had done. Mine did too, not knowing how he's going to respond to the news. "Well, to be honest, you did a good job..." I smirk but quickly put my hand over my mouth for what I had just said. He looked at me shocked and surprised with some anger in his eyes. He looked as if he was about to snap, but then he breathed as he began to blush.

"Go to bed."

"What?" I tilted my head to show I was confused. "Just... go... I wish to be alone..." He said with more anger in his voice, like he was hiding something. I nodded as I got myself up and walked upstairs, into my room. I quickly got ready for bed and laid down at the other end of Manic, who was already asleep.

As I stared at the ceiling in bed, I thought to myself, 'I wonder why Shadow wanted to be alone all of a sudden?'
