Does anyone else notice how much Seiya winks in the anime? I swear, like every episode she's throwing a flirty one at Usagi:

-"If a thief breaks in, I'll knock 'em out!" *Winks*

-"Odango's gonna play softball with me! I already told our teacher." *Winks*

-"Odango! Let's show them our love-love power!" *Winks*

-The teacher, "These three will be in our class from now on. Please show them around." Seiya, standing at the front of the class looks at Usagi and *Winks*

See? :) That's why I make her wink so much in case you guys were wondering XD lol

"Where's Usagi?" Makoto asked when Seiya entered the dining room alone that evening.

Seiya pulled back her chair beside Taiki. "Odango said she was kind of tired. I'll bring her something later."

Seiya noticed the chair at the head of the table was empty, then remembered the Princess had some business to attend to and would be late.

Tonight's dinner was a root vegetable soup, biscuits, and a purple seedy fruit. Seiya picked up her spoon and started to eat.

"I'll bet she's tired," Yaten said from across the table.

Seiya looked up.

Yaten dipped her biscuit into her soup, her expression far too innocent. "Long day, wasn't it?"

Seiya's grip tightened around her spoon. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh, nothing." Yaten's green eyes narrowed with amusement. "Some people around here are just getting careless."

Taiki glanced between them. "Careless?"

Rei and Minako exchanged quick looks down the table. Ami and Makoto only looked confused.

Seiya could feel her face getting hot, which annoyed her more than anything. With her outgoing attitude and tomboyish nature, blushing felt like it did not suit her at all.

She raised her glass and took a long drink.

"I have no idea what you're mumbling about," Seiya said at last, setting the glass down.

Yaten smiled. "Really? Because when I walked into the music room earlier-"

"Yaten," Seiya cut in.

The table went quiet.

Yaten paused, her spoon still in her hand.

Seiya met her eyes across the table. She didn't care if everyone found out eventually. But Usagi was not ready for that, and Yaten knew it.

For a second, Yaten looked like she might keep going anyway. Her mouth twitched. "What?"

Seiya's stare sharpened.

Yaten rolled her eyes and leaned back in her chair. "Fine. Forget it."

Makoto frowned. "Forget what?"

"So!" Rei cut in loudly, sitting up straighter. "Who's excited for the party tomorrow? I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait." She turned quickly to Ami. "What about you, Ami?"

Ami blinked, startled by the sudden attention. "Oh. Um, yes. I'm looking forward to it too."

Seiya gave a light sigh of relief. She caught Rei's eye and offered the smallest grateful smile.
