The awkwardness of this situation is making me jump of the cliff. Mom is out of the house and I am left with them. Sitting in the living room. While they're watching tv and me hugging my phone. I can feel Niall's eyes are burning me lile crazy but that woman is totally glued to him. I hate that. I wanna be glued to him.
"Diamond, can I ask you something?" that woman spoke. I looked at Jennifer with a killer look.
"What?" I raised my eyebrow, already annoyed.
"Why you were with Niall?" she asked. Niall inhaled getting out of her embrace.
"Don't ask stupid questions." I said rolling my eyes. But she didn't stop.
"Ladies, don't argue." Niall tried to fix the situation.
"Is it because he's rich or his big dick? Oh, wait wait... Or both?" she smiled staring at me.
"Why you married him? Is it because of his money? Oh wait wait... Maybe because you can cheat on him more, that's why?" I copied her and stood up. They both got very suspicious to me when they suddenly gave each other some weird looks. I just shook my head and left to my room. I've dealt too much already.
"Can we talk?" I heard a knock on the door and Niall coming in.
"Okay, sure. You have a second." I said turning to him from my laptop. He exhaled staring at me.
"Diamond... Let me explain myself. Just this time and if you won't believe me, I will walk away and leave you alone, okay?" he almost begged me. I looked away from him feeling pity.
"So, talk. I'll listen." I said standing up, ready to hear what he wants to say.
"Thank you. Everything is fake. This ring, this marriage thing... I did it because your mom said she will take you away from me. I didn't want to lose you, so I did this instead." he said with tears. I blinked trying to take the information.
"Mom knew everything?" I whispered hugging myself feeling bad.
"Yes. She came to me and told me to break up with you. It broke my heart to do this to you, baby." Niall came closer and caressed my cheek. I looked at him feeling a bit angry.
"You sacrificed our love to obey to what my mom told you? You could've told me all of that instead. We could've come up with something. Even if she would have taken me away from you... Distance won't be a problem. Because I love you, fool." I said with tears not understanding why he did such a stupid thing. Okay, I get it he wanted to act fast... But it only hurt us both.
"I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry." Niall hugged me tightly. I closed my eyes feeling his warmth again. He stepped away and took off his ring.
"What are you doing?" I got confused. He threw away that ring and kissed me, bringing me close to him.
"No, we can get caught." I whispered into his lips.
"We're alone. Don't worry." Niall smiled.
