The idea we came up with was so farfetched that it might actually work.
So, it's about these three teens. Two boys and a girl. One of the boys and the girl are best friends and the second boy has a crush on the girl.
Boy #2 is hanging out with the two of them a lot more and Boy #1 starts to have a crush on him. Well, Girl also starts to have a crush on Boy #2.
The other details are unimportant. The people who are playing the characters are more important. Clay is Boy #2, the one neighbor girl Drista wanted to bring is the Girl, and I'm Boy #1.
I have to pretend to have a crush on Clay. Should be fairly easy, since ya know I actually do have a crush on him. God, this'll be really really awkward.
When everyone got to my house, I elaborated my situation and gave them the paper with instructions to inspect.
"Should be easy. We practically have a small army helping us with this." Nick says with a chuckle. I look over to see what everyone's doing.
Drista is on her phone already, Clay's new neighbor girl, whose name we found is Emma, is doing her makeup with her phone camera. Clay, Darryl, and Zak are talking about things.
Darryl had told Zak about this earlier and Zak wanted to help so one more pair of hands I guess.
"Well, let's start this. I can't tell it'll take forever to actually film then edit." I say, desperately trying to get everyone's attention.

We finish the script and it's pretty wonky but I don't care as long as I get the assignment done. Now we have to actually film it.
We start with the first scene, Boy#1 and Girl are going to watch a movie at the cinema. It should have been easy to film this but for some godforsaken reason it took us 2 hours to film this scene.
Emma is constantly messing up her lines and being annoying. Her lines are so simply, and they're things like "What movie should we watch today?" I want to rip my hair out just watching her struggle with this.
We finally finish the first scene and we go on to film the next few. Surprisingly, the next few scenes run smoothly. Well, it's all running smoothly except for Emma constantly flirting with Clay.
The flirtatious winks and the flirty comments make me jealous even though Clay isn't dating me. He's not mine to be jealous of.

This is the scene I was terrified to film. This is the scene where my character confesses to Clay's character. I don't think I'll be able to do this without going off-script and adding some of my on lines, if you get what I mean.
"Gray, can we talk?" I say for my character, Cyrus. Clay nods for Gray and he walks closer to me. I shouldn't have wrote this scene in.
"I have something to tell you. Well, ya see, I kinda-" I say, not entirely sure if this is me or Cyrus speaking. "I like you. Ever since I first saw you. And when I found out that you had feelings for Maisie I completely broke down."
I feel my face start to turn red as I continue. "I was scared to tell you because I didn't know how you felt about 'people like me'. As much I as I felt that you would be fine with it 'cause you're one of my best friends I was still scared that you would hate me. And if you do hate me, I completely understand. Hell, some days I hate myself."
I finish my rant that was nowhere near what I was suppose to say and I glance up to see Clay's face. I can't tell if he's upset, angry, or just disappointed.
