Idea 4: Twilight's Confession

Twilight Sparkle began to have nightmares on Midnight once again. Ever since this whole thing started, Midnight haunts her. Twilight wanted some time to figure out how to get rid of her, and in the meantime, letting Spike be in care of Fluttershy until she figured it out.

However, the girls got worried over Twilight's absence in school because it is unusual for her to miss any school. They all went to visit her over the weekend, however, Twilight said she was okay, but didn't want to be bothered.

Sunset went anyway to check on her. Twilight appeared to be going crazy over Midnight. She feared going to sleep, letting her guard down.

Sunset was there to comfort her, and Twilight was starting to settle. She almost got her to sleep, tied her to the bed. Twilight was referencing sexual S&M. Sunset completely ignored her, and slept. Twilight was trying to sleep, but she was still going crazy. She then brought out some of her secrets because she thought Pinkie Pie was laying with her.

"Hey Pinkie Pie, can I share another secret with you?"

"Sure."

"Remember I said something about Sunset...?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I'm in love with her..."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but I already know she likes my sister Princess Twilight... probably because she's a princess, has magic, and is prettier than me..."

"You really think that?"

"Yeah... I do... I never did confess... now she probably already asked Princess Twilight... and thinking about leaving for Equestria soon."

"What if she doesn't... would you have done it then?"

"I don't think she'll have a choice..."

"What do you mean?"

"I made some elaborate plan to stop her from going over to that side... because I feared she may have liked us both... and I didn't want to share her..."

"What?!"

"I did. She won't have a choice but to choose me... but I regret doing it... I made a terrible decision... and now I'm paying the price..."

"What did you do?!"

"I fear... Midnight... is finally going to take over me, because I needed help to do it..."

"What did you do?!!"

"I'm sorry Pinkie Pie... Everyone is going to hate me... so I'm just going to give up..."

"Twilight, NO!!!"

"Sunset?! When did you get here?!"

"Twilight, what is happening to you?!"

"Sunset... I... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... I know I keep saying that... eventually that word won't mean anything because of how often I made mistakes... but I won't have to anymore..."

"Twilight, tell me everything right now! Please! I can't... take the pain anymore..."

"I know... I know... I will make things right... Deprived of sleep, food, and water... I will pass out... my body will do what it can to stay alive... but... I will stop... and let myself..."

"What will I have to do to make you stay alive?!"

"Sunset... I'm sorry for hurting you. But, I always wanted to ask you... do you... do you care for me?"

"You... I will do anything for you?! I will fight for you, I will be there for you... haven't I already done it to prove that to you... I stood by your mistakes and proved to the others you weren't to be blamed... I care so much about you... I just..."

"Sunset... I wanted to do the same for you too... I just made things worse... but... I love you..."

"I love you too..."

"Take me in... please..."

Sunset kissed her, but she backed away.

"I... I meant, take me into the hospital..."

"Oh, of course..."

Twilight brought her in again.

Idea was scrapped, indefinitely.
