Idea 6: Twilight's Confession 3

"I don't know what else happened..."

"What do you mean?"

"Whenever I allowed Midnight to take over, it was like I was asleep inside my head. I have no idea what Midnight was up to."

"Why would you allow Midnight to take over?"

"It was part of the deal I made. If she could allow me to have you, I would allow her the freedom of being alive. However, she broke many things, I told her I didn't want any harm brought to you guys."

"Well, she technically didn't hurt us... physically..."

"She didn't?!"

"No, she used everyone else to do that for her. Under her influence, I suppose it will always bring out the worst in people."

"Sunset, she will continue to do this, until she gets what she wants."

"I know. And we will stop her."

"Please, just let me go alone. I don't want to harm you anymore. I don't want you all having to deal with my dumbass decisions anymore. I'm pretty sure they are all sick of seeing me. I ruined their lives, and I don't want to keep doing it!"

"Twi... if you do love me, then I want to help. Let me help you."

"I still don't know if you love me... the way I do..."

"I do Twilight... you're the only one that matters to me now. I'm done living in two worlds, I want to be here with you from now on!"

"Sunset... please don't..."

"I'm not going to lie Twilight... I will always have a part of me that will always want to go back. But, it was my decision in the first place to stay here. I've become more human than a pony. I made those dumb decisions in the first place. But, it worked out because I made such great friends, and I also got to meet you. After trying to chase the other Twilight, I was disregarding your feelings. I can't change that, but now I want to be here with you."

"..."

"I know. Even after all the work we've done. I know it will be hard to accept, but relationships aren't easy... look how long it took the others to admit it to everyone. I'm sorry I did waste your time. I have other reasons why I do want to help you."

"Like what?"

"This is my fault too. The fact we have magic in this world was because of me, the evil that surrounds this place, the magical rifts that opened up, the aggression and emotional hardships. It was all my fault, which was why I was so inclined to help every step of the way. Because of my decisions, it's become worse, but without it, I would have never met you. It was my fault I made you do this in the first place, you love me, you tried your best to show it, but I was stupid! Please Twilight, let me show you and prove to you how much everything means to me."

Sunset held out her hand. Twilight looked deep into her eyes, before she held it and gripped her hand tightly.

"Sunset..."
