Idea 5: Twilight's Confession 2

"This one bad decision I made, has changed everything. It has ruined lives, and it has ruined me..." Twilight Sparkle said.

"What decision did you make?" Sunset asked.

"Making a deal, with a demon." Twilight said.

"Midnight?" Sunset asked.

"Yes." Twilight said. "I made a deal with Midnight. I was jealous of Princess Twilight, my sister, having feelings for you, I figured you liked us both... I didn't want to share you, so I made choices to where you could only be with me. I was also still curious about the magic that surrounded the world. Analyzing the benefits as well as the damage it can do, but our world cannot withhold such power, that is why our world is shattering. But, that was my fault. Making that deal, changed our world, opening rifts, making magic become too prominent for our world to control. Now that Midnight has risen, it will soon consume me, and all that is left is my body as an empty husk for her to control. With the world soaked in magic, she will get her wish of becoming all powerful. Ruling this world, and manipulating all life in this world."

"You sold us out?!"

"Yes. For you."

"This is not happening! Why? Am I that worth destroying your life over?"

"That is why I must do this, to save us all! If I don't, then this world will become unbearable to live in."

"No, I won't let you."

"I must."

"Someone, already has done that for us!"

"What? Who?"

"Ask Him yourself!"

"Who?"

A light shone in her room. She was given the answer, inside her head, it then grew understanding of something above her own.

"I see..."

"This power, it is not ours to use. It belongs elsewhere. And we must give it back to rid the evil or corruption to take over. There are already people finding out about it, so we must put a stop to it."

"What about you? Does that mean you will have to go back?"

"I don't know yet. But, Twilight. After all this... I might not want to. I've grown too attached to everyone, especially you."

"I understand, but Sunset... it's okay... I don't want to force you into anything anymore. I'm not forcing you to like me, or to stay here with me, I want to repent for my actions forevermore!"

"This is my decision. And I will help you. I won't leave you behind Twilight. I care so much about you. I know, you were right. I did want you both, but that was just my fantasy, the reality is, I can't be in two worlds, I cannot serve two masters. I will end up disregarding and hating the other for one. I want to be faithful. I did originally love the other, but I am not close with her as much as I was for you. Not only that, but she has drifted away for a reason. I was being too clingy, and wanted something she didn't want out of me. I was too stubborn to admit it. But, you weren't. Even though we are stuck in this mess. I want to help fix it. I want to show, no matter what, we will get through it, together."

"Thank you Sunset... I am truly sorry... I do want you... I couldn't ask for anything more..." "We will carry each other's burdens, we will go together, through anything."

"I love you Sunset."

"I love you too, Twilight."

Got a little preachy, idea scrapped.
