Idea 13: Plot Revision

A rewrite of my original plan of how the Midnight series is playing out. I think it would be almost too cruel to completely close everything down but still be in Midnight's control.

For example, If I wanted all the elements gone, and every portal and contact with the other world to be closed and no longer available, then Midnight would have no power to control. Even if I switched to Midnight just wanting to be human and want to cause trouble while also having Sunset by her side. Then I might as well disregard my fans to the story because it would not be a good enough ending.

What I have in mind is that Equestrian magic is becoming more powerful and prominent to stop. Pretty soon, the world will be consumed by it. And it will be up to everyone to stop Equestrian magic from being put into the wrong hands and help the girls close the rifts that open to their world. Therefore, it would cause Midnight to become more powerful in taking over Twilight.

So, this next part of the series is called, Clock Strikes Twelve, because Midnight is becoming powerful with the leaks of magic becoming open to the world. I was just going along with One Last Mission, but it is cruel to have it all gone, but Midnight will still have power to take over everyone and everything. It is not a proper ending.

What makes 12, a more proper ending is because Midnight will be dealt with beforehand and the last mission will be to close the rifts and to give them all sources of power to Princess Celestia.

What will still be planned is that Sunset will still have to choose whether or not she will come back to Equestria to be the unicorn that she is, or to be in the human world for life.

Twilight still hoped Sunset would choose her over Princess Twilight because she did sort of plan to lose contact with the other side to be with her. It was just up to Sunset to make that choice.

With 12, it will give Sunset more reason to be in the human world because she will have to help Twilight contain that demon in her. That is planned for 12, because it will be Midnight trying to kill Twilight to take over her body and mind to control. However, her love for Sunset and Sunset being the main one to help her through it all, will cause Sunset to fall for her. Sunset did ask why her? Twilight did finally confess when her body was weak and her life could have been over. Sunset never said anything back, but she took care of her, and was willing to fight for her through any means necessary to stop Midnight.

In OLM, Sunset will have to choose being human or unicorn after they have stopped the rifts, while everyone is involved in stopping a tyrannical control of their city. But, it was not all.

In OLM, the main seven face off trying to close the portals as well as fighting off anyone involved with the magic to use for evil. All the students and their involvement help by giving them directions of where they will find the rifts and also let them know of any danger that arises. Halfway through the story, they will then face off the Rich family's men in black and stop them from taking control of the city. After they closed the portals and stopped the Rich family from taking over. They went to turn in the magical properties, which was their elements

and Sunset's book, over to Twilight. However, behind closed doors the real Twilight and the elements of harmony were imprisoned and was taken over by King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis. They both went to the human world to destroy. With all the rifts closed and the elements in the evil's possession. They were useless to stop them. However, the one portal they could not close entirely was the Everfree Forest. So, they got everyone involved to help in stopping them, their power was great which allowed another source of power to step in to help.

In 12, we were first introduced to Sunset having dreams of an unknown entity. Sunset questions and questions, which she came to find out it was God. After almost dying in Animus, she was transported back to her body, but only because she had help from the Lord. Applejack and Fluttershy knew of this as well because they were taken to their bodies and started to have visions and voices in their heads as well. Applejack knew right away, but it took Fluttershy and Sunset a little bit of time to figure it out. Even if they didn't believe it, they still needed to get rid of the power they possessed or it would destroy them all entirely, because there would be more people in possession of it, using it for dark purposes, including the use of Black Magic. God will be their guide to stop them. Sunset finally believed when she was able to finally rid of both Midnight and the demon in her with the Lord's help.

God steps in, in OLM to stop Chrysalis and King Sombra. Allowing the girls to possess the powers of the Holy. Which they were able to let everyone unharmed, and to break the elements to be repurposed in Equestria. Restoring balance and closing both worlds from each other. Sunset chose to stay in the human world because of Twilight. Being the last thing that was from Equestria to be in the human world. The Everfree forest was destroyed along with the connection between the worlds.

The last enemy was Stinkin' Rich, which Diamond Tiara stopped to have her family back. Diamond Tiara begged for her parents back. God gave her the strength to bring them back, she believed and were brought to her. She thanked God, and was happy.

Afterward, everyone was happy and decided to help the city be rebuilt. They also had faith that brought them all together and finally ended the story.
