Idea 7: Twilight's Confession 4

"Twilight, do you remember after we walked back into our world... what did Princess Twilight say to you?"

"Huh?"

"I know she said something to you after we came back, it was not what you said before. What was it?"

"She told me to be the leader I was meant to be. It was my job to take care of everyone. Especially you. She wanted me to strive to be better, since I grew jealous of her."

"I see."

"I know it is hard to accept, but... I already failed everyone."

"Don't say that! You haven't. You are the one leading us to fix everything, strategizing every move, you are our leader Twilight!"

"I didn't want to be. She was a true leader! She got everyone back together when everyone split up, she helped you become better! I'm nothing compared to her!"

"Stop it! Enough thinking that you're not good enough!"

"I can't, what have I done other than cause things to happen?"

"We are out here trying to fix it, are we not?!"

"..."

"Twilight, please... you are enough..."

"You never gave me reason to believe that... you do want Princess Twilight, right? So does everyone else."

"She wanted you to take care of us, especially me?"

"Yes."

"I felt it. I just never wanted to accept it, it was hard you know. To think that I was blind to see the truth... that I did love someone who didn't love me, or did the exact same thing with you... I blame myself for everything Twilight. I was stupid, confused, and didn't know what to think after everything."

"Sunset..."

"I'm so sorry Twilight. I should have just come to you in the first place."

"Don't force yourself to love me."

"I'm not! Like I said, I do love you Twilight! It was just hard to not want both of you! It was some stupid fantasy!"

"You don't think I blame myself as well? I should have done the same, and confessed, but I don't know why I didn't... I guess... I just always knew you favored her more than me."

"How can you say that?"

"Like I said, you never gave me reason to believe that I was the one you needed... or wanted... I honestly didn't want to share you."

"I stuck by you the whole time! Every mistake you caused, have I not been there?" "Yes, but I've done the same for you as well."

"Twilight?"

"Yes?"

"Will you, will you forgive me? And stay with me?"

"Yes, I will."

"Thank you."

"Will you forgive me, and stay with me?"

"I will."

"I do want to ask you one thing, first."

"What is it?"

"Will you allow me to confess to Princess Twilight?"

"..."

"I know it is a bit much to ask, but I want to see if she really didn't think of me that way. Just to have some closure?"

"I will accept, because I trust you."
