Idea 34: Diamond Tiara and Scootaloo Side Story

Long time arch duo. Diamond was physically and verbally abusive to Scootaloo. She was also just an ordinary bully to Sweetie Belle or Apple Bloom by taking advantage of their generosity and innocence, but the only one she knew she couldn't fool was Scootaloo. Scootaloo never tried to fight back, nor do anything to get back at her for the things she does because it would drag herself down to her level. She wanted to remain loving and kind as much as possible, but it was the hardest and wasn't able to bottle the hurt and anger for too long. Diamond would then believe Scootaloo was weak, trying to hold back the darkness that envelopes inside her, however she had proven time and again that it was her reluctance to get back at her that made her strong, and it annoyed Diamond all too much.

However, after the events of the Midnight Series, Diamond and Apple Bloom started a friendly and growing relationship. After miraculously bringing back her family, she started to see the love and purity Apple Bloom had. She wanted to be forgiven for all the pain and suffering she had caused to become her close friend. Apple Bloom relished the fact that Diamond turned over, and wanted to be a friend.

Indefinitely, after the events of One Rotten Apple, Diamond and Apple Bloom started a secret loving relationship. However, it was still relevant that both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo have not officially accepted Diamond Tiara as part of their Crusaders Club, nor have they accepted Diamond as

a changed person. Especially Scootaloo when she confronted Apple Bloom about her not accepting their relationship. Still believing Apple Bloom was innocent, she was willing to let go and relinquish her part of the Crusaders Club. Sweetie Belle heard of the fallout that happened, so she confronted Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara that she was accepting of them, even knowing full-well of the relationship between them. She didn't tell Scootaloo about her accepting them, as Scootaloo was becoming silent and miserable without Apple Bloom in the picture.

Scootaloo came down with depression, and was starting to believe that the Crusaders was just a childish game with no real work toward the reality of every situation. Believing they've done nothing to accomplish their goals, nor were they really helping anyone.

It only became worse when Scootaloo started to take it out on her relationship with Sweetie Belle. Got close to ending their relationship, but it was until Sweetie Belle announced her acceptance to both Diamond and Apple Bloom. That's when Scootaloo believed she had betrayed her and ended it there.

Diamond wished to confront Scootaloo about the situation, after Sweetie Belle came to them begging for help in the situation. Apple Bloom wanted to apologize to her, but Diamond stepped to try and prove herself that she really changed.

Later on, they both set up a one to one meeting with each other. From there, it became a showdown, but as it seems Scootaloo became Diamond, and Diamond became Scootaloo. The two had switched roles completely as it appeared. Even though that may be, Diamond still wished she could see reason. Scootaloo kept mentioning every moment where Diamond could have done good or done something to prove to her about changing. Scootaloo believed she missed every opportunity to change, and she doesn't believe she ever will given their history.

Afterward, Diamond cried, heartbroken. She didn't want Apple Bloom or Sweetie Belle near her again.

Then, the two confronted Scootaloo. As Scootaloo saw the monster she was becoming. She had become just like her, only worse. She dragged herself down to that level and below. The thing she didn't want to become, came and had taken her. She was empty. She was in pitch black, and felt all the things she cherished disappear. As Scootaloo was about to end it, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle saved her from attempting suicide.

Afterward, they all apologized, but Scootaloo felt undeserving of it. But, Apple Bloom said to Scootaloo about Diamond feeling the exact same. Everyday since they started to be together, she felt she didn't deserve her friendship, or to have loving and caring people around her. Even having been earning herself the respect of everyone, she didn't feel like she could ever achieve their love.

However, just as they talked. Scootaloo had an epiphany about Diamond. If she felt that way too, and was left alone then they could only mean she would do the same. So, they all rushed back to the Rich Manor, and saw Diamond attempting the same as Scootaloo. However, it was Scootaloo that caught her first.

They apologize, but after getting over it together for days, Scootaloo and Diamond wanted to start earning each other's respect then work up to more understanding, and eventually earn each other's love. For now, there is acceptance, and becoming and returning to Crusaders into the Crusaders Committee. ScootaBelle reunited once more, with Apple Tiara becoming official.

Just as the dark days have started to get behind, an old friend appeared to have seen the play that happened to unfold in front of her. And that was Silver Spoon. Still raging with jealousy and unrequited friendship or love from Diamond, she walked away wanting to plan something diabolical next time.
