Hanamaki sloppily puts his things inside his bag when he sees Matsukawa standing outside their classroom, waiting.

Lunch break. Oh, how he loves that.

"Why are you in a hurry?" Suga asks, raising his brow.

"My- my boyfriend is waiting for me outside," he shyly replies, a tint of red visible on his cheeks. He still isn't used to calling Matsukawa his boyfriend.

Sugawara suppresses a squeal, checking the said person waiting outside. "That's your former teammate, right? He's hot. You're lucky." He winks.

Hanamaki blushes even more, zipping his bag in the process.

The two guys stand up and walk their way towards the door.

"I guess, I'll see you later?" Suga bids his goodbye when they already step outside.

Matsukawa raises both of his thick brows, recognizing the gray-haired guy. "You can join us if you want."

"No, no. I'm going to my boyfriend's building. But thank you," Suga declines, winking after and walking away.

"He's gay...?" Matsukawa murmurs.

"I thought it was obvious," Hanamaki snickers. "His boyfriend's probably their former captain."

Matsukawa holds his right hand, pulling him to walk. "Let's hurry before the cafeteria's fully packed."

Hanamaki rolls his eyes. "You're just afraid the meat's gonna run out."

The taller guy looks back and grins. "Exactly."

When they entered the cafeteria, it was full as expected.

Matsukawa sighs, as he looks around to find an empty table. "I knew it."

Hanamaki sighs in return. "Let's just go-"

"MATSU-KUN!" He is cut off by a loud voice from across the cafeteria.

The two turn their heads in unison. They see the familiar blonde waving at Matsukawa.

"You can sit here!" Atsumu suggests, pointing towards their table while Osamu silently eats on his side.

Matsukawa tilts his head to look at Hanamaki. "Should we?"

Hanamaki wants to say no because he doesn't like Atsumu and he doesn't know why. But then he doesn't want to sound like a brat so he just nods as an answer.

"Great." Matsukawa pulls him to the twins' table.

"Is this Makki-kun?" Atsumu asks, smiling as the couple sit across them.

"Yeah," Matsukawa answers. He turns to Makki. "What do you want to eat?"

"Same as yours," the pink head states, avoiding eye contact with the blonde.

"Alright, wait here."

Hanamaki knows it's a bad idea to be left with the Miya twins. Osamu's fine because he's just quiet but Atsumu is on another level. He's too curious with Hanamaki and Matsukawa's life that he keeps on throwing questions towards the pink head.

Hanamaki's taken aback with the last question Atsumu asked before Matsukawa returns to their table.

"So you two are together?"

Hanamaki wasn't able to answer as they both started eating as soon as Matsukawa sat down.

They're just silently eating, well except for Atsumu, when the other twin speaks.

"Hey 'Tsumu, eat your food before it gets cold," Osamu scolds his brother.

Hanamaki finds their accent cute but not Atsumu.

Atsumu rolls his eyes to his brother and grunts, picking up his chopsticks. "Fine."

As far as Hanamaki knows, Atsumu is the older twin. But now he's having second thoughts because of the way the blonde acts.

One thing that comes up to his mind is that, he's glad he doesn't have a sibling.

The brief silence is brief for a reason.

"By the way, who're you gonna partner with on our PE class, Matsu-kun?"

Atsumu just won't stop talking.

Matsukawa's hand stops midair. "I dunno, maybe I'll ask someone later."

"How about we partner up?" the blonde happily suggests. "I know how to play tennis. I can teach you!"

How about no?

Hanamaki doesn't like the idea but he can't just dictate Matsukawa's decision.

"Oh..." Matsukawa puts his chopsticks above the tray, finished eating.

Please say no. Please say no. Please say no.

Hanamaki silently prays.

"Okay, fine by me," Matsukawa continues.

Hanamaki almost chokes on his soup.

Osamu eyes him in curiosity, being the only one who noticed him. The pink head tears his gaze away the gray-haired Miya and continues eating.

----

Hanamaki is walking alone to his next class. Matsukawa was dragged by Atsumu because they're going to be 'late' so he just nods in approval, not wanting to slow his boyfriend down.

Suddenly, someone taps him by the shoulder, interrupting his thoughts.

Hanamaki looks to his side. "Y-yes?"

"You look like you're about to cry."

Osamu Miya.

"What're you talking about?" Hanamaki laughs.

"You jealous?" Osamu asks, giving him a side glance as they both walk towards the same direction.

"Jealous? Pft. Why would I?" Hanamaki snorts. Wait, why is he talking to him? They aren't even close to begin with.

"Because 'Tsumu's clingy to your boyfriend?"

Hanamaki goes silent. He just couldn't lie so he decided not to talk. Brilliant, isn't he?

"Nailed it," Osamu chuckles then taps his shoulder again. "I'll get going." He waves and enters the classroom that they have passed by.

Hanamaki rolls his eyes.

So much for thinking that Osamu was fine. The Miya twins are equally annoying.
