Mine (Bakugo x Reader)

Chapter 4

After we all changed out of our hero costumes the girls and I went to the cafeteria to eat.

"Momo how do you eat so much and still look like that?" I asked astonished by how much food she had.

"I need to eat a lot to be able to use my quirk." She explained how it worked.

"Watch out that grape is coming our way." Mina pointed out that the boys were coming over.

"Hi, Deku." I sat up to move out of Mineta's way as we leaped at me.

"Hi Mei. Can we sit with you?" He asked while gesturing to the rest of the boys since all the other tables were full.

"Of course." I smiled and moved to the side to let them all sit down with their food. Surprisingly Bakugo was with them and sitting at the end of the table.

"Have you been here a while?" Deku questioned.

"No, why?"

"You don't have much food on your plate so I assumed you've been eating for a bit." He said pointing out my small portions.

"Oh, I'm on a diet." I lied.

"But you're perfect Mei!" All the girls tried to reassure me and telling me how good I looked. I thanked them for that but just continued to say that I was going to continue the diet.

"So anyway, what do you guys think we'll do tomorrow?"

"Probably some more training so we can work on our quirk control." I answered.

"That's true." They all agreed.

I then started to feel slightly light-headed like I was yesterday. I put pressure on Momo's thigh trying to keep myself up and not worry anyone.

"Mei and I are going to head out for a bit." Momo said as she helped me up so no one would be concerned about me. Once we got out of hearing range Momo set me down on a bench.

"Mei are you alright?" The concern was visible on her pale face.

"Yeah, I was just feeling a bit dizzy like yesterday." I answered.

"I'm going to take you to the nurse and then let Aizawa sensei know what's going on." I nodded as she continued to help me to the nurse.

She helped me lay down and I just closed my eyes and drifted off into my own thoughts until I fell asleep.

I heard a small bang which caught my attention so I opened my eyes to see what was going on. I saw a body leaving the nurse and I caught sight of some blonde hair but didn't think much of it. I then turned to where I heard the band and saw a plate of food on my bedside table. Whoever just left must have left it for me. As I reached for the plate the door burst open and I saw my dad looking at me with a terrified face.

"Mei, what is going on?" He rushed to my bed and sat down next to me.

"I felt dizzy again." I told him.

"What is this about you not eating?" I could hear the fear in his voice.

"I'm just going on a diet." I fumbled with my fingers as I said that.

"I thought you stopped this." He grabbed my hands and I looked up into his eyes which were searching for the answer to helping me.

"I'm sorry." I started crying in his arms.

"You don't have to be sorry about anything. I just need to know how to help you."

We talked for a bit until he needed to go back to work and then some of the girls were allowed in.

"Hi." I looked up at all of them who also wore concerned faces.

"Look Mei, if you don't want to talk about it then you don't need to but if you want someone to talk to then we are all here for you. Also if you're worried about it none of the boys know." Jirou said. I was definitely relieved to hear that the boys didn't know, I don't want anyone else to worry about me.

I then told them my struggle with eating and all the bullying I went through when I was younger. They all listened to me carefully as I spoke and when I finished they all hugged me and told me how much they care about me. 

"I never expected to be wanted by anyone and now how I have all of you." I gave them a smile with tears rolling down my face.
