Mine (Bakugo x Reader)

Chapter 19

"Of course Jirou." I moved over on the bench so she could sit next to me.

"I've finished the song for Momo. Can you look over it?" She asked shyly.

"Of course! Do you mind if I take it home so I can place it on my guitar to hear what it sounds like? Or actually, do you want to come over to my place?" 

"Sure."

We walked back to my place and talked about music for almost the entire time until we reached my house. I led her in and to my room. I could see her face light up as she saw all the music posters around my room.

"Do you want to borrow my guitar to play it?" I asked. 

"Actually could you play it? I have the music sheet here." She handed it to me.

"Sure. I'm not that great though." I admitted. 

In the end, we practiced it a few times and made a few changes but it was perfect. 

"I think she'll love it." I told Jirou. 

"I hope so." She sighed. 

"Look, even if she doesn't feel the same I doubt she would stop being your friend."

"I think you're right but it would still be weird." She replied. 

"It will but you will hate yourself if you don't do it." 

"That's true." She got her stuff together and got up. "Thanks for the help Mei." She smiled and went home. 

After she left I quickly went to my backpack and pulled out Katsuki's sweatshirt. It was dark grey and soft. As I hugged it I could smell him and I felt safe once again.

I decided to go out and get some coffee so I threw on his sweatshirt and a black skirt. I kept my thigh highs on since I was too lazy to take them off. I grabbed my wallet and phone and went to the closest coffee shop.

"Hey Mei!" I heard from behind me. I turned around to see Kirishima, Denki, Mina, and a red-faced Katsuki. 

"What are you all doing here?" I asked excited to see all of them. 

"We wanted to hang out before our internships tomorrow. We all got our agencies that we're gonna go to." Kiri told me.

"Oh, that's cool! Do you guys mind if I join you?" 

"Of course come with us! And don't mind Bakugo, he's just grumpy that Kirishima dragged him along. I mean look at his face! It's all red from anger. You'll never get a girlfriend like that." Denki laughed. 

"You dumbass!" 

"Katsuki don't make a scene." I rushed to stop him from exploding the portable charger.

"Fine." He shrugged off my hand from his arm. 

"You should be nicer to Mei. You're lucky someone is so nice to you." Mina pointed out. 

"Mei!" I heard my name and moved to see that my order was ready. I grabbed my iced coffee and joined the rest of them as we left the shop. 

"So what was the plan?" I asked. 

"We were thinking about either a movie or something like that." Mina said as she grabbed my arm. 

"Don't make me drop my coffee Mina." I laughed at her. 

"You know Mei really is cute." I overheard Kirishima say to the boys.

"That sweatshirt looks like a guy's. Do you think she has a boyfriend?" I smiled realizing that Katsuki probably enjoyed seeing me in his sweatshirt.
