Chapter 12

On my way home all I could think about was Katsuki touching me. A smile grew on my face as I remembered the feeling of his touch. 

"Dad! I'm home." 

"Where were you? I thought you were coming home early today." He then moved to me and grabbed at my neck which confused me for a second until I remembered what was there. "What is this? Is this a hickey?" My dad was completely infuriated.

"Wait dad it isn't." I tried to calm him down. 

"Are there any more? How far did you go? Oh god, all I've tried to do is protect you and now you're going to get pregnant." He was breaking down quickly.

"Daddy I didn't do anything. You can have a doctor check if you want. It's just a bruise from training." I lied.

"Training? Is that what you were doing today? Were you with anyone?"

"I was assigned as Katsuki's partner for a math project and once we finished we trained for a bit. That's all." I continued to try and reassure him.

"Okay." He let out a sigh of relief. 

"Do you have to work anymore with Katsuki?" 

"Yeah, we still have two more parts to do." I answered quickly.

"Next time you guys have to work, come here and work." 

"Wait but then you're just gonna be around us and it's going to be uncomfortable. Plus he doesn't know you're my dad. We can just keep working at his place." I rushed.

"I don't want you two together alone. I trust you but I don't trust that kid. I promise I won't be here but I would just feel better if you would work here." I agreed and went to my room to get ready for bed.

'I almost got caught! Why didn't you tell me you could see one of my hickeys?' I sent.

'I didn't see it. I didn't know if any of them were dark since I didn't have enough time to mark you.' He responded quickly.

'I- well um... YES YOU CAN SEE THEM!!'

'Well now everyone knows you belong to someone... just not know it's me yet.'

'Thank you for going on the down-low for me.'

'Well, what was my other choice? Not kiss you? That wouldn't work.'

'That is true.'

'Do you want to come over tomorrow?'

'For what hmmm?' 

'I mean whatever you want.'

'Wait no I forgot. Okay so my dad wants us to work at my place but he won't be here. He's just nervous that we might do something.'

'Well, he is smart.'

'Well yes but I don't think we should do anything at my place. If that's okay with you.'

'Why wouldn't that be okay with me?'

'Well I mean we never really talked about what we want to do.'

'Well this is a conversation we should do in person but I want you to know that the reason I like you is not because of your body or for sex. Nothing like that. Your personality and your kindness are what I like about you.'

'Thank you Katsuki. I wasn't sure so I was a bit nervous.'

'Don't be. But I have to go to bed now so goodnight.'

'Goodnight.'

I set my phone down and just smiled. I always thought I'd be alone forever but someone actually cares about me like that. I was so happy that I couldn't sleep so I put my headphones in and blasted some music while I danced around my room.
