Mine (Bakugo x Reader)

Chapter 11

I walked as slowly as I could to get to class since my dad wouldn't let me stay home. I tried to convince him I was sick but I'm not good at acting so he forced me to get up and get dressed. I decided to wear my hair down today incase I just needed to cover my face quickly. 

I entered the classroom to be welcomed by the yelling of every student just like any other day.

"Mei!" Denki yelled as he hid behind me.

"What's going on?" I asked in confusion.

"Kirishima is trying to kill me!" He fake cried.

"Kiri don't hurt him he's just a baby." I jokingly pouted.

"Wow, Mei you're wearing thigh highs today! That's so hot!" Mineta yelled as he started to run at me. Suddenly a large explosion appeared right in front of me and almost of the annoying grape. 

"Back off you annoying perv!" Bakugo roared angrily. Mineta hurried off and away from me to make sure he stayed safe.

"You should know not to wear thigh highs in a class filled with perverts." Katsuki growled.

"Well, you are one too Bakugo! Look at your blush!" Denki pointed out.

"Do you want to die?" He yelled ready to explode Denki's face. 

"You didn't deny you were blushing." Jirou pointed out.

"It's warm, okay?" He stomped off to his chair while everyone else just laughed at him.

I didn't know what to say to him because of yesterday. I decided to just work on training with everyone else. Every once in a while I would notice Katsuki and then get distracted which usually ended up in me being hit by someone's attack and my dad yelling at me. 

After training, we went to our math class which was usually one of my best classes but the topic right now was just confusing. Momo tried to help me but even with her, I couldn't understand it. 

"Attention everyone." Our teacher said. "We will start group projects as of today. I will create groups of two and you will have to find time out of school to work together."

"Why groups for this?" I whined under my breath. 

"The first group is Kirishima and Denki. The second group is Midoriya and Uraraka. The third group is Bakugo and Mei." I froze once he said that. Just my luck that this would happen. I looked up to see Katsuki looking in my direction. "Everyone get in your groups and decide when and where you will meet."

"So I'm basically free every day." I told him quietly.

"Same."

"Where do you want to meet? My dad won't let anyone come over to my house." I quickly added in case he would suggest my place.

"We can work at my house today if you're fine with that." 

"That works." I shuffled back to my desk to grab my things. 

"Mei wanna hang out today?" Momo asked.

"I wish I could but Katsuki and I are working on our assignment today."

"You two? Alone?" Momo and Jirou stared at each other and started making kissing noises to make fun of me.

"Would you stop it guys?" I playfully hit them until they stopped.

"You ready?" An angry voice asked.

"Yeah." I said as I followed Bakugo out of the school and to his house. Most of the time it was silent which made it awkward between us.
