“Slap her.”
“No-”
“Do it.”
“No-”
“C’mon, just right across her face! Do it, do it, do it!” Ashlee bugged in my ear as we all watched Bridget smile at everyone.
“Shut up Ash. Jeeze.” I snapped. She scrunched up her face, and crossed her arms on her chest as she mumbled to herself, eyeing me every so often.
“So how are you guys?” Bridget asked. Everybody stayed silent, their eyes going from her to me, back and forth like they were watching tennis.
Siva was the one to speak up. “We’re good, I guess…”
“Cool.” She giggled with a sickly sweet smile. I swear, that smile would make Satan himself cry in horror.
“Please.” Ash whispered, pouting her lip.
“No!” I whispered harshly. “I got bitched at by my mom for ‘not being nice to her’ I don’t need anymore.”
“Can I?” She asked, and I looked at her, thinking it through. I shrugged.
“Yeah, yeah, go ahead.”
“Sweet.” Ash smiled at me, then looked back at Bridget, and smirked. She stood up, stretching her arms. I hit her leg, and she looked at me.
“Wait, are you seriously going to do it?!”
“Yeah. I was. I am. Don’t be so surprised.”
I laughed. “Oh my god.” Tom looked over at me, as Ashlee made her way over near Bridget.
“What are you doing?”
“Not me. Her.” I sighed, as all you heard was a loud, SMACK. Everyone looked at Ashlee and Bridget.
“Oh my god.” Siva mumbled.
“No way.” Nathan said.
“Grace is gonna kill ‘er.” Tom commented.
“What is going on?” Jay asked in disbelief.
“Woo, chick fight!” Max exclaimed, and everyone looked at him with disapproving looks. Some hitting him in the head a few times.
“What the hell, was that for?!” Bridget snarled, standing up, looking Ashlee in the eyes. Ashlee shrugged.
“I just wanted too.”
“You are such a bitch.”
“Language, little girl. We have a baby in the room.” Ashlee tutted, looking over at Nathan.
Nathan scowled. “Heeeeey.”
“You think you’re funny?” Bridget spat. Ashlee put up her thumb and forefinger, saying that she was a little funny. “Well, you’re not!”
Ashlee yawned, and shrugged. “Everybody has their own opinion.” Bridget gave a frustrated squeal, groan, thing --- I didn’t really know what it was, but she created some sort of noise, and slapped Ashlee across the face.
“Oh my god.” Tom and I said in unison.
“This is not good.” Tom said.
“Not good at all.” I added.
“What’s not good?” Jay asked, looking at us, then Ashlee who’s jaw clenched, and she gave a fake, annoyed laugh.
“Ashlee’s gonna kill her.” I whispered.
“Somebody call the police.” Tom said. Everyone looked at Ashlee and Bridget with careful eyes. Ashlee nodded her head, and smiled sourly as her hand went up and smacked Bridget again. Bridget let out a yelp, and pushed Ashlee back. Ashlee staggered a bit, and went to push Bridget. As Bridget went staggering back, she grabbed Ashlee’s hair and that’s when all hell broke loose.
