Harry's POV

We began to push our way through paparazzi, but there was too many of them added with fans. This is the reason why I have doubts of this whole "being famous" thing. It interferes with my personal life.

"Harry, Harry over here!"

"Can you confirm your relationship with the girl?"

"Jayda, her name is Jayda," a fan shouted.

I kept looking back to Jayda to make sure she was okay. So far, she was handling this very well.

"Does the age difference bother you Harry?"

"Is it official?"

They kept asking the same questions over and over again.

Jayda's POV

I was actually doing perfectly fine during all of this. I've gotten used to it by now. As long as Harry was holding my hand, I would be fine.

Suddenly, what I'm guessing was a journalist or just a crazed fan popped up in my face.

"You must be out of your mind! Who do you think you are!" They screamed.

I still remained calm.

"I hope you know he's just using you for sex you slut!"

Still calm....

"You can stay silent all you want you black bitch, but you need to go back to where you came from. You're not even his type!"

And that, that is when I absolutely lost it. Something in my mind just told me to snap. I don't know if it was the "black bitch," or the " you need to go back to where you came from," for me, but whatever it was was enough for me to lose it in this particular moment.

I let go of Harry and got in woman's face.

"Listen here bitch, you don't know me so I suggest you leave right now. You have no clue where I am from, and you don't want to," I said calmly.

The woman's face began to go red.

"You should learn to accept the fact that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. If you ever attack me for my race again I will-"

Harry's POV

By the time I realized Jayda let go of my hand, she was already in some woman's face.

"If you ever attack me for my race again I will-"

I covered her mouth before she could finish that sentence. She mumbled in my hand as I pulled her through the crowd. Thankfully, we were near the exit.

I pulled her towards my car and put her in. I raced out the parking lot before they got the chance to catch up.

"Are you okay? What happened?" I asked out of breath.

"She has no idea who I am. I swear if you wouldn't have pulled me away from her I would've fuc-"

"Heyyy," I interrupted, "We're out now, it's okay."

"No Harry it's not. That woman called me a black bitch and told me to go back to where I came from. I know you could get in trouble for what I did, and I sincerely apologize, but I had to stick up for myself."

Her hands began to shake. I pulled over and grasped them.

"Hey, hey, hey. I'm here okay? It's over. I'm sorry, I didn't even hear anything through all that commotion."

"It's not your fault. You would think people would make a bigger deal about our age difference than our race. This world is just fucked up," she said pulling her face to her hands.

I was surprised to have heard her curse so nonchalantly. I know this isn't the right time, but that was really attractive. Snap out of it Harry, I told myself.

"Come here," I said pulling her into my chest, "the world is a fucked up place, but we have each other now. I'll always be here."

I didn't know how to comfort her. I've never experienced this before, and clearly neither has she. I can't help but think this is all my fault.

"I'm sorry that I don't know how to react to this. I know this is new for both of us. But Jayda, I need you to know that when I look at you, I see the most beautiful girl ever."

She lifted her head up.

"Your skin, especially, is what I love about you. Never feel ashamed of it. Your skin is beautiful and should be praised upon."

"Thanks H,"

Fuck, there goes that nickname again. Calm down Harry, it's not the time.

She hugged me lovingly and gave me a kiss, before holding onto my hand for the rest of the way home.

As I drove, I thought about how I wished I could do more. Her skin shouldn't even be a factor in our relationship. It's the most beautiful thing she possesses, along with that bright smile of hers.
