Marinette spun around the room, her elegant, black, ball gown fanning out slightly. It was her first ball and she was excited. Her hair straight with little beads laced within them. Chloé, Kagami, Bridgette, Julika, and Alix were besides her as they danced to the music flowing through the room. The music filling her soul, as she danced with her sisters. Her sisters in all but blood. She spotted her betrothed on the other side of the room, and her smile seemed to grow, when she caught him smiling at her. She twirled Chloé around, before shoving her towards Jon, a man she has had her eye on the whole time they've been at court, before rushing to her betroths side.

"Come dance with me?" She asked, breathing a little heavy, but the smile not leaving her face.

Damian shook his head no. "No, go on and dance. I'm fine where I'm at."

Marinette frowned slightly, before she smirked and dragged him to the dance floor anyways. By then, Jon, Luka, Felix, Nino, and Kim had joined her sisters on the dance floor. She looked back at Damian and smiled excitedly. And just as she was about to turn to dance with him, Damian spun her around by the hand.

Marinette's laughter can be heard, as she excitedly danced with Damian. And when the song ended and the next one came on, they continued to dance. Damian had a small smile on his face, while Marinette's only grew. But of course, all thing must come to an end.

A sharp tug on Marinette's arm had her spinning away from Damian and into someone else. Her smile disappeared, as she looked up to see Lord Adrien.

"I think it best if you let go of me." She stated, the music was still playing, and the people still danced. But she was no longer happy.
"And why is that, Princess?" He asked, his face lowers closer to her.
"For one, you are not to touch a Princess. And two, you took me away from my betrothed." She stated. "Now, let me go." She hissed, glaring at the blond.
"But what about all the fun we use to have, don't you want that again?" Adrien asked.
"You mean, where you stole me away from my castle and forced me to stay with you? No thank you, I'd rather hang myself from the chandelier. If it weren't for your cousin, I wouldn't be here. Now, let go of me. This is your last chance."

Marinette was so done with his attitude. He was just a spoiled brat. But when Adrien didn't move, Marinette pulled her dagger out and sliced his arm. Adrien jumped back in fright, successfully releasing Marinette.

"I did warn you. Next time I won't be so nice."

Marinette didn't return to the party, escaping to her room to enjoy the quiet. She had long changed out of her party dress and into night wear. She was brushing her hair when a knock came to her door. She called out for them to come in, and was surprised to see Damian.

"Damian, what are you doing here?" She asked.

Damian smiled softly, before walking over, pulling her out of her seat, and spinning in a circle.
"Dance with me." He whispered, pulling Marinette in close and swaying. She smiled and nodded against his shoulder. Happy once again.
