Chapter Twenty- Feeling Safe

~~Cherish's point of view~~

It's only been a day since Aricka was here. I'm still in pain, but I don't want the medicine. It makes me sleep; Axel has kept his word; he hasn't left my side. I fell asleep with him in the bed with me. I woke up, and he's on the floor beside me.

Cherish: "Boss, are you awake?"

Axel: "Don't call me that." 

Cherish: "I don't know who's here."

Axel: "It's just me right now."

Cherish: "Why are you on the floor?"

Axel: "Because I told you that I wasn't leaving you, and I wasn't comfortable sleeping in the bed with you."

Cherish: "It's not like you're going to hurt me. If you stay in here tonight, you better sleep up here."

Axel: "I thought I was The Boss?"

Cherish: "In this room only, I'm the boss. So, get up here."

He does a push up to get off of the floor. He sits on the bed.

Cherish: "How did you sleep?"

Axel: "Like shit."

Cherish: "I really wouldn't have minded."

Axel: "I did, though."

Cherish: "You're the head of the Mafia, and you are worried about what I would have said or thought?"

Axel: "I'm not a monster, Cherish."

Cherish: "I didn't say that you were."

Axel: "Why are you not afraid of me?"

Cherish: "I knew the first day you weren't going to hurt me. Frosty also told me to listen and trust you."

Axel: "You don't know me."

Cherish: "So, tell me."

Axel: "What do you want to know?"

Cherish: "How old are you?"

Axel: "Thirty-six."

Cherish: "You look good for an old fucker."

He looks damn good for his age. He's also hung very well. I can say his penis is the first I've seen in person.

Axel: "What were you just thinking about?"

Cherish: "Nothing, why?"

Axel: "That's a lie. Faces don't turn that red not thinking about anything."

Cherish: "I um, I saw you naked."

Axel: "When?"

Cherish: "Yesterday. I woke up thinking that I was alone. I turned my head and saw you."

Axel: "I had just got out of the shower."

Cherish: "You looked deep in thought."
