~~Brian's point of view~~

I'm confused about this game we're playing. It's been two weeks. The first week she'd come to my room every night, I'd meet her in the shower every morning. This week has been different. Neither of us speaks to each other out of the room. This week she wants it all the time. I'm not complaining, but we don't talk. At all.

I'm in the living room alone.

Axel: "Are you ok?"

Not anymore.

Brian: "Yeah."

Axel: "You've changed since you've been living here."

Brian: "I'm happier than I've ever been here."

Axel: "I just want to make sure. Something is going on, I know you, I know something is going on. Do you have a girlfriend?"

Reeva walks into the room; She's been home all day; it's her Saturday off; she looks good.

Brian: "No. I never leave the house other than work. How would I have a girlfriend?"

Axel: "You're not using, again, are you?"

I knew that would come up.

Brian: "Fuck, no."

Axel: "You know if you need to talk, I'm here."

Brian: "I know."

I can't help but stare at Reeva. I'm not going to lie and say I like what we're doing. I feel used. I feel like when she does get pregnant, we're going to have issues. I also won't lie and say that I'm not starting to have feelings because I am.

I get up and go to my room; My door comes open, Reeva comes walking in.

Brian: "I can't right now."

Reeva: "I don't want that."

Brian: Oh."

Reeva: "I just want to talk."

She comes and sits crisscross on my bed, looking at me. I can't help but put my hand on her leg.

Brian: "What about?"

Reeva: "I heard the conversation between you and Axel. He's right. There's something different."

Brian: "You're right."

Reeva: "What it is?"

Brian: "You."

I'm not going to lie to her.

Reeva: "Me?"

Brian: "Yeah."

Reeva: "What about me?"

Brian: "You have me so fucked up; I don't know what to do."

She wants to know I'm going to tell her.

Reeva: "Ok...I'm going to need an explanation."

Brian: "The first week was perfect. The way we had it worked. This week it's been any and every chance we can. It's fucking with my head."
