Chapter Twenty- Nine- Lonley in a room

~~Reeva's point of view~~

I never thought my life would be this lonely. I'm surrounded by people, but I still feel empty inside. I felt the same way when I lived alone. It got better when I moved in with the crew. I love them all dearly. We even have three new additions. Cherish and her husband, Axel, decided to live here. He has two children from his previous marriage. They are adorable little girls. We all instantly fell in love with them.

Axel is extremely good to Cherish, and he fits well. With him came his siblings. They don't live here; they just visit. He has three. He has two cousins as well. Cherish and his cousin Brian are very close. He's around more than the others. I'm sitting at the barstools in the kitchen.

River: "You ok?"

River asks as he comes into the kitchen.

Reeva: "Yeah."

It's Sunday; We're all home; it's the only day of the week we are All here. The only one missing is Damien; he's still overseas.

River: "Talk to me."

River is the one who picks up on everyone's emotions. I fully understand why Natalie fell in love with him. I also know why he fell for her. They are perfect for each other.

Reeva: "Have you ever been surrounded by people that you know love you but still feel lonely?"

River: "I have."

Reeva: "I've been in that funk since Cherish and Axel got married."

River: "That was three weeks ago."

They got married two days after he proposed.

Reeva: "Yeah..."

River: "Reeva, that's not good."

Reeva: "I know. It started when mom died. I was fine before that. Now it comes and goes."

River: "Maybe you should talk to someone."

Reeva: "I'd be so embarrassed."

River: "Can I tell you a secret?"

Reeva: "Sure."

River: "Cherish has been seeing someone since she came home. She goes on her off days at school. No one knows but me. Now you."

Reeva: "I won't say anything."

River: "I'd be happy to help you. I helped her."

Reeva: "Would you?"

River: "Absolutely. I'll take care of it tomorrow."

Reeva: "Thanks, River."

Juliana: "Veva?"

Juliana is Axel's youngest daughter; she's five and has special needs; I love her to pieces.

Reeva: "What's up, Sweet Pea?"

River gave her that nickname, and it stuck. Her big sister Tatiana is Lolipop. She's always asking for one.

Juliana: "Up."

I pick her up and put her on my lap. She immediately laughs. She has a crush on River.
