Chapter Thirty Six (Last Minute Preperation... or something like that)

Susanna's POV

"Alan. Have you saw the tour posters, yet?" I said into the phone as I made my way to the studio where most of the others already were. Alan had just got back to Nashville a few days earlier from L.A., and had been spending every chance with his family.

"Not yet, Susanna. How'd they turn out?" He sounded tired, but excitement was there in his voice too. "Wait didn't you design them?"

"Yeah, Kelsey and I came up with it together. The background in pink. Get it like the Escape Album?"

"Nice thinking." Alan commented, and I could picture him nodding his head in approval.

"Well, it's got pictures of Anthem Lights, Jamie Grace, and Kelsey. And then it gets mysterious," I said making ooh sounds with my voice. "For the newcomers, me and Chosen it just has silhouettes."

"Sounds awesome, I'll be at the studio soon and we can look at them and do any last minute prep work, then." Alan laughed his deep laugh.

Joey's POV

I had stuck my head out the door of the studio, I mean the pizza guy is coming, and I'm ridiculously hungry. I spotted Susanna talking and laughing into her cell phone, and I felt the sneaky grin inch up on my face.

She was so deep in conversation and thought, she wasn't paying attention. I snuck around and came up behind her. I reached and poked her in the side, wrapping her in a side hug. She squealed in surprise, almost dropping her phone barely catching it and hitting the speaker button.

"Hey, Joey." Alan's voice laughed through the phone's speakers.

"Alan." I said in a fit of laughter.

"Alan. I'm going to hang up now, so I can get Joey back, I don't need any witnesses." Susanna said locking her eyes on me, a glint in her blue-grey eyes.

"I guess I should leave then." A voice came from behind us. We both jumped and turned to find a laughing Alan holding several pizza boxes. "Inside you go, kids."

I rolled my eyes, giving my best sarcastic teen impression, "Yes, Dad."

Susanna just laughs, shaking her head. "Whatever." She grabs the door for Alan and the pizzas, almost shutting it on me. "Oh you want in here too?" She smirked at me, sticking her tongue out at me.

Chad's POV

"Come on guys. I'm trying to eat healthy here. And you bring pizza in? That's just rude. Jerk face. You person with the face of a jerk." I say, crossing my arms.

"But I'm hungry!" Joey whines. "What if I pass out or something?"

"Whatever, little bro." I reply.

Susanna gives me a sympathetic glance. "They got you a salad, Chad."

"Thanks, Susie Q." I sigh, "Can't even eat cheese on it. I don't like living in the lactose intolerant world with Joe."

"Do you want me to slip some pepperoni on your salad?" Caleb whispers.

I answer with a laugh, and Alan gets everybody's attention after we have our food. "Okay everybody. I have a system for this tour... that way there might be a few less fights." Alan stops and gives me and Joey glares, we respond by putting our arms around each other and shooting him cheeky grins. "More on that later. But right now, let's offer grace and pray about the tour." We all pray in turn, about the food, the upcoming "Treasured" tour, and this  we are leaving behind for about a month or so.

I can already tell that people may wonder why our tour stops are kind of random, but it's what God laid out there for this time, so there you go.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

So I'm pretty excited today. I just felt lead to type in wattpad in the kindle app store. (I hadn't had my app for a LONG time, so I wasn't reading or writing on here very much at all.) Anyways I was praising God when I saw that it was available for Kindle again. I have to say I like the updates and changes they made so far. Writing a story is easier at least. :)
