"All the Pretty Girls" -KALEO

The end of the week was up. Nora White was happy for her best friend, how the terrifying dreams were coming to an end, and being replaced by happy memories to come.

Nora knew Bonnie was hiding something from her. She had felt it since that day she was put in the hospital. No thanks to Nora. The witch felt it deep inside her that something happened in the dream Bonnie had that one night, but she refused to tell her.

So, Nora never brought it up again, especially not in front of Sean.

It almost hurt to watch Bonnie and the Alpha wolf together. Sean was soon to introduce both witches to the pack including Ida who had made herself at home. Nora barely spoke to the German woman but felt nothing but true intentions from her.

Nora could hear Bonnie's giggling along with Sean's deep chuckle downstairs in the living room. She smiled slightly when packing the vintage suitcase of her belongings. The house that Sean promised her was ready and as a true witch, it was in the woods on the outskirts of the town.

She was ready to live in solace and rebegin her training. She had put it on hold when Bonnie entered her life. Before her mother perished, Nora had a difficult time controlling her ability, the power to hurt an individual with just a touch.

The witch knew that if she trained hard enough, she could send the hurt rather than have to use the sense of touch. She was just on the tip of the surface before Bonnie entered her life and she thought she would have to keep her training on hold when her mate, Savannah, appeared but then the young wolf wanted nothing to do with her.

Bonnie didn't know she was leaving the cabin yet and wanted to keep it that way for as long as she could. Bonnie had a way of getting her eyes to water when something didn't go her way. And Nora fell for it every time.

She was now passing that baton to Sean.

The wolf didn't even see it coming when he had told his Bonnie 'no' to something she wanted. Nora remembered a few days ago when Bonnie's "trusty" Converse had completely disintegrated. She had immediately begged Sean to take her to the nearest mall. He had opted to just order them online.

"I just need to get one thing, Teddy. Nora's gonna go with me. I know you have things to do and I'm a big girl, I can go to the mall if I want to!" Bonnie had wailed.

Sean ran a hand down hand face and short beard with an exhausted sigh. Some issues had risen within the pack since his week and a half "vacation" due to his mate being found. Piles of paperwork and files of who knows what were piled high. Since Bonnie had made the decision to stay, he now had to get back to work.

"I know you can go places by yourself but now that you're a part of my world, there are some things that have to change in yours. Including going to the mall without guards," Sean explained calmly.

Bonnie's eyes widened slightly, "Guards? Sean, I need to get a pair of shoes, I'm not going to some foreign country to be a diplomat-"

"Monkey... Please, just let me-" Bonnie's dark green orbs began to water and Nora stood behind her, smirking into her hand to try to cover the laugh that was about to escape. Poor Sean, Nora thought.

Sean's face showed furrowed brows and a gaping mouth. The big bad wolf was crumbling right before her and he didn't even realize it. A small whimper left him unknowingly when his mate's bottom lip began to wobble. Sean fumbled for his wallet in his back jean pocket and Nora watched with amazement.
