"Her and Her Friend" -TV Girl

     "That's a bit cliche, don't ya think?"

Nora had a thin arm wrapped around the curvy waist of Savannah. The blonde she-wolf had a small smile clear across her lips when she saw the wide grin on her older brother's face. He was crushed after finding out what the hollow feeling inside his chest meant.

Savannah remembered hearing him crying a night after the elders gave him the troubling conclusion. A second chance mate never happened. Never. It was an old wives tale that many heartbroken, mateless wolves were told for hope.

The only issue was that this Nancy character had a spunk you needed to watch out for. She looked to be a nice woman but, with the way she barged into the Idaho pack's grounds with no fear, it could be seen as clear as day that Nancy was a force to be reckoned with, and not in a good way.

Marcus was going to have his hands full for sure.

Nora sent the Beta wolf a knowing smirk as the Alpha and Luna, along with Nancy, walked up the porch steps of the cabin. Nancy eyed Marcus with furrowed brows and pointed eyes. The look on Marcus's face could be endearing and sweet to anyone in the small pack but, to Nancy, he looked like a creep.

Before Marcus was able to make a full of himself, Sean set up with thin lips and his mate tugged into his chest, "Maybe we should move this to the living room. I still don't want Bon outside at the moment," The Alpha said lowly.

Nancy sent Sean a raised brow but they all ignored her. Bonnie tugged the tall brunette inside, leaving Sean behind with the overwhelming feeling of abandonment sitting on his chest. He had sent his feelings to his mate unknowingly and Bonnie held no remorse.

Without turning around, she yelled back, "Stop being such a baby, Sean O'Connell, and go make me something to eat!"

Sean stomped past a snickering Nora who was doubling over, cackling like the witch she was, as he went to the kitchen to do as Bonnie commanded. Grumbling the whole way. Marcus, in a daze himself, followed after his Luna and Mate as if they both were singing a siren song.

Due to Marcus being the Beta, he had this connection to Bonnie that made him act like an overbearing older brother, something he didn't even feel towards his own little sister. But, with Nancy, the skinny woman that was his mate was singing a whole other tune.

The woman had no idea what she was doing to him and he would willingly get on his knees and serve her.

All the women sat in the living room, Nora and Savannah in their own little love bubble but listened on to the conversation. Nancy spoke first, "What's with the blond dude? He's looking at me like I cured cancer."

Bonnie let out a small laugh before sending her friend a sweet smile, trying to ease into the lengthy discussion, "Nancy, how's work, life, the whole shebang? Last I spoke with you, you were thinking about going back to school to get into novel writing. Did you end up going?"

The small half-breed was starting off slow, easing her way into the big revival. Nancy began to sadly tell her friend the woes of being out of money, how college was still not in the picture, and how she had lost her job at the diner.

She felt horrible for Nancy, for as long as she'd known her, the tall, dark, and fiery woman spoke nothing else but that of being a best selling author. It was a dream from the beginning for Nancy but, she barely had a suitable education and wanted to learn more to be the best she could.
