"Devoted" -Atta Boy

Nora was nervous. So nervous that she was biting her nails and rubbing her hands together. She had taken Bonnie's exhausted body up to Sean's room. The small woman didn't even notice, she was too tired.

Nora knew she had an upsetting dream on the way. Not only was she whimpering in her sleep but she woke up distraught and in tears. She learned a long time ago not to pester Bonnie, especially when it came to her dreams.

Even more so if a certain blond dreamboat was in it.

Marcus had told Nora that Sean was on his way from the compound or packhouse which was the large hotel looking building where she had met him a few days ago. The cabin they were in now was his private home.

"Oh Lord, help me. I'm sweatin' like a sinna in church," the witch mumbled, fanning her face.

Marcus walked out of the kitchen with a beer, "Why are you so nervous? If anyone should be nervous it's me."

She looked up at him as he rounded the couch, "And why are ya nervous?"

Marcus sat next to her, turning on the large television that was mounted to the wall in front of them, "When Alpha finds out that Luna is a depressed mess, he's going to blame me for not looking out for her enough. I may even be demoted, Nora!"

It was then she noticed his sarcastic tone of voice. She hit his buff arm, "This isn't funny, wolf boy!"

"Will you just relax? The second he smells her, we won't even be a thought in his mind."

"Ya don't understand, Marcus. These dreams that she's been havin' haven't all been good but they all eventually come true. What do ya think will happen when she finally sees the man that she's been dreamin' 'bout for the past year in a half?

"Y'all think she'll just run and jump in his arms but she won't. She's terrified of him whether she wants to admit it or not. And if I have to take 'er and hide 'er away, I will!"

The witch had stood from her spot on the light brown leather couch, towering over the wolf as she yelled, not noticing the man that plagued everyone's mind had walked into the house, hearing every last word.

"You're not taking my mate anywhere, witch."

His voice was loud and deep. If Bonnie hadn't woken up from her friends screeching, she definitely had woken up now. His voice had so much power you would have thought it shook the house.

The wind outside whistled loudly and that seemed to be the only sound coming from anywhere as the Alpha stood in the entrance of the living room with a leather bag in hand, the witch stood still behind Marcus who from the moment his Alpha walked in the room, he had stood.

"Alpha," Marcus' hands went behind his back and he bowed slightly as a greeting.

Sean ignored him, "Where's my mate, witch."

     "Sean, please-"

"No!" He roared, throwing his bag at his Beta.

Marcus caught the bag with a grunt and moved away from the two as they exchanged heated glares, "Please, just listen, Sean. Ya need to remember that she knows nothin' 'bout this or that you're actually real, that you're not just some perfect guy she dreamt up to make 'er sucky life a little better."

"Um, actually..." Marcus clutched onto his Alpha's bag in his arms as the two whipped their heads over to him.

"What did you do you, stank wolf!" The witch screeched.
